The best Chinese food and restaurant in Chinatown. Hank, our writer, was very patient. Love this restaurant!Dietary restrictions: My neice is allergic to shellfish. Hank made sure her food was cooked separately and served last. Awesome. I was very impressed. Thanks, Hank.
The atmosphere was cozy and I loved the service, the people were super nice. I tried the shumai and fish in black bean sauce it was real good. I've lived in Chicago for over 70 years. The last time we visited Chinatown was over 10 years ago. We decided to check out Emperor"s choice restaurant on Wentworth/Cermak. The best decision ever. Hank was a awesome waitperson! He even brought out 5 different noodles for me to pick out the one I wanted. From drinks, appetizers, and main entrees, everything was delicious and worth the price which was quite reasonable. We'll be back!

I came to Emperor's choice with a party of six and it was perfect for us! The portions are a great size for if you would like to share with the family and still have leftovers. We ordered one dish each and we used the lazy susan on the table to share! The food was great quality and the staff was amazing. The atmosphere was lively and Emperor's choice was a terrific spot on Saturday night! I will definitely dine here again!

We liked the food at this restaurant so much we went a 2nd time in our 1 week in Chicago. The wait staff was quick, pleasant, and accommodating. We highly recommend- their English is a little lacking, but we got a kick out of the "forg legs with fired rice". LOL!
