The worst food I've eaten. We ordered vegetable curry, the tofu was like rubber, the sauce was nothing close to curry. We also ordered sushi, rookie mistake, it came with those little green dividers, I think they bought it from jewel. The woman that answered the phone was so rude, I should have hung up on the spot. Having lived in this neighborhood for 25 years, I like to try local places, this was not a good experience. $30 in the compost bin

Great neighborhood Chinese place and one of the rare places that puts a good variety of vegetables in their dishes (not just celery and onions). I ordered chicken gyoza (which were decent), vegetable lo mein and Szechuan chicken. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The chicken was soft and the sauce was delicious. Both the entrees came with fresh medley of vegetables - mushrooms broccoli, onions, snow peas, bell peppers, bean sprouts - which I loved. The lo mein was soft and slightly chewy just how it should be.I took 1 star off because the entrees were a tad bit oily, however the quantity was good and it's definitely value for moneyHighly recommend this place!

This place is my favorite hidden gem! The food always arrives hot, as if I am sitting in the restaurant. They never make mistakes with my order. I like that they offer more than one vegetarian entree. I highly recommend!!!

Good, somewhat average Chinese food. The server seemed unhappy. Kind of a low energy place. One other customer was there when we ate there on a weekday evening.

I have always gotten great food here, and the customer service is lovely. Not to mention great value for the price of the food. I really recommend En Lai!

I got takeout through DoorDash. The crab Rangoons were very good, flavorful and crunchy. The orange chicken was pretty good too, had a nice flavor but some pieces were a little chewy. Would definitely order again!

First and last time ordering from here on grubhub your vegetables tasted frozen there was no sauce in the cashew chicken and my stomach feels ill after having your sesame chicken and picking what looked to be parts of wings and God only knows what out of my mouth just terrible food and I have ordered from a lot of different places around this area. The Spring rolls were terrible and tasted frozen just absolutely horrible I had to spit it out. I just called them to let them know and they were arguing with me over the phone her name was Ming and clearly the food is terrible

Used to love this place, but the last few times the delivery is SO SLOW that the food is cold. Not even warm. I won’t be ordering again.

I'd been here before for lunch and dinner and had actually enjoyed myself. However, today (November 30th, 2023), I went here about 5 p.m. and ordered their chicken curry. I expected steaming hot chicken and vegetables cooked in curry--very yellow, perhaps a bit spicy and bursting with flavor. What I got instead was a lukewarm plateful of huge pieces of pre-cooked rubbery chicken that was also so bland I had to use their soy sauce and hot sauce to make it even palatable, and had to use my fork and soup spoon to separate the large pieces of chicken as well (no knives). The rice had obviously been warmed up and not prepared fresh. As for the service: The waitress couldn't have cared less about whether or not I was enjoying my food, and I never saw that sourpuss again till I got the check. I've gotten way better customer service at Arbey's. Clearly, prices have gone way up and food quality, presentation, and service way down in inverse proportion. What a disappointment and waste of money and shame on them for serving inedible garbage in the guise of food.

I've gotten takeout from here twice now. I'd say it's pretty quality, although from going inside to pickup, all the tables are deserted and the lighting is pretty dim so it's kinda weird vibes. However, the food was great. The fried rice and crab rangoons were tasty! I loved the string bean chicken, and the General Tsos was also really good -- it had broccoli in it which was unusual but a nice addition. In general I would say it's always been hot and fresh, but some pieces of meat and veggies could've been better cooked.

How this place has 5.0 stars is beyond me. My guess is that there is some fraud reviews on here, because there is no way that is correct.First, the chicken satay was an orange colored chicken stick with a honey (?) sauce?? Satay is supposed to be peanut sauce, and this was not that. The sauce was also a clear orange color, so no attempt at anything peanut at all.Second, I order beef with snow peas. I got 90% snow peas to 10% beef and it had zero flavor. It's a joke - I have pics if anyone needs proof.Third, the kung pao chicken was dry with a very thick breading. Not an ounce of sauce anywhere to be found. This is utterly dissapointing and I deserve a refund. Do not order from here.
