Today was my first time there and it will not be my last. These catfish nuggets are so fye smh and the Mac with the greens are a hit. Thank you guys so much for making me full and satisfied today!

First of all, my catfish was not done (raw) on the inside, the man at the counter was nice but told me I had to choose either mild sauce or hot sauce, I couldn't have both and that coleslaw didn't come with the fish, when I asked him how much it would cost, he acted offended and said he would give them to me this time. I was in a hurry so I didn't see the raw fish until I was on the bus long gone. I will not be returning. I had to throw the raw fish in the trash and waste my money

I tried this place for the first time on 02/27/22 around 2:00PM hour. It wasn’t too far from my home and my father had a tastes for fish today so I went to Ocean Wave SS to try their menu out. The place was immaculately clean and the cashier was nice and very professional. The food is cooked fresh to order and there are three old school video game machine to keep you busy while you wait for your order. My order was ready in less than twenty minutes because the foot traffic on this day was small, only included me and two other people after me. Here is the run down on the food purchased on this day.1. Catfish filets (3 piece ordered) were the best, tasty, cooked soft, plenty of seasoning and huge pieces, enough for two meals.2. Candied Yams were delicious.3. Mac and Cheese was almost like homemade and delicious as well.4. Collard Greens tender, plenty of seasoning, tad bit of a vinegar tastes (not a fan), but were good enough to purchase again in the future.5. Corn muffin according to my father were kind of bland but at leasts they weren’t sweet (JIFFY) like most places which he isn’t a fan of sweet corn muffins or sweet cornbread.6. Chicken bites seasoned Chosen J*** and Mango Habanero, I wasn’t a fan of the Chicken Bites because the seasonings (couldn’t distinguish between what was J*** and what was MH) tasted the same to me and the Mango was not really that hot like WS place, plus the chicken was kinda tough hard to chew/chewy.7. The fries on the hand were the bomb and can be reheated unlike other fasts food joints to a edible status.In summary even though I wasn’t a fan of the chicken bites I would visit and encourage others to make a trip to this food joint because the sides and fish were definitely well worth the visit. My suggestion based on my visit to come early in the day because I was there around the 2:00PM hour and the place had sold out of Catfish Filet. I ended up getting the lasts order.

Ooooooh weee the customer service is amazing! The food is phenomenal. After a long day at work I decided to go here and I don’t regret it and I’m definitely going back. I got the Cajun chicken tenders and my husband got the Nashville Hot tenders
