Etheria cafe has provided a safe haven for parents/caretakers and their kiddos to run around- while they can sip on a coffee or catch up on emails. We appreciate all the work you have done Melanie, to tirelessly keep this place going. I loved the affordable, inclusive pricing. Your hard-work does not go unseen! Your presence in the community will be immensely missed. Thank you for all the great memories 💛💛💛
We came here on a cold day to let my child get the zoomies out if you will.
You must have a reservation before you come, it’s crowded, loud, and kids love it. There is some seating for adults, some coffee beverages that come in these awful thermos’, and the food is decent.
Great for kids younger than 7, anyone older makes it hard for younger kids.

Perfect space for safe play with the kids. Separate cafe area. Play space is only $5, comfy chairs and tables available to eat as you watch your child play.
Highly recommend!

This is a great place to go with little kids. One word of warning for people with peanut allergies: they sell a lot of peanut products, including PB&J
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Just be aware that they sell many peanut products, including PB&J.

Perfect place for kids on a winter day. Good coffee and pasteries! The staff is so nice. Prices are reasonable and the kids have a blast! Make a play time reservation in advance.

I'm happy to have such a wonderful neighborhood coffee shop! The coffee & food is well made and the child play place seems very popular.

This review is strictly about the service I received today. I've taken my child here many times and we've loved it previously. However today, there was a new employee who was incredibly rude. Medium height, dark hair in a bun, and was wearing a blue sweatshirt. When we walked in, this young woman rudely scolded me for not making an online reservation (we've been enough times to know it's typically slow on Thursday afternoons). As I tried to explain this, (and apologize for any inconvenience) she cut me off and would not let me speak as she continued to berate me in front of my child and another customer. I then ordered a drink, which she didn't make for about 15 minutes. When I finally got my coffee in the orange cups that *have always been* allowed within the play space, she walks in and says drinks aren't allowed. I kindly explained that in previous visits, I've asked and been told by staff that the cups they provide with lids are in fact allowed and have been allowed every other time I've been here. I then asked if there was a new rule, she wouldn't respond except to berate me about how it's not allowed. I should also add that there were 3 other empty cups just the same in the play space from other customers who had left prior to us arriving. This employee was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and just not a good fit for this usually wonderful establishment. Honestly I hope someone reaches out to me because I would hate to see this woman ruin others days with her horrid attitude and honestly I don't think she should be employed at an establishment with children present. Or at the very least be re-trained in service, and the rules of the establishment.

Amazing place. Owner and staff are patron-centric (whether patron is adult or kiddo). Fun, low stress, great caffeinated drinks. Support a great addition to the neighborhood.

We hosted our daughter’s 3rd birthday party here over the weekend and couldn’t recommend the experience more! We had nearly 40 adults and 24 kids and everyone had a great time. The food set up was quick & efficient, the play space was enjoyed by kids 18 months to 8 years old, the cafe was great for parents to enjoy coffee, and though we did decorate a bit to our theme we didn’t need to do much! Several guests inquired about availability to host their own kids birthdays here. One of the things we loved most is how sustainable everything was - cloth napkins, reusable plates, & reusable tumblers. We realized we had received less pizzas than we ordered and the staff quickly and graciously mobilized to rectify the issue. All in all, really pleased with the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or book again.

My minority family walked in. The barista gave us a look and didn't say a word to us. We waited by the register to bring our child in. Even though no one else was there and she clearly saw us, she took some time to walk over to us, giving us some interesting glances, while not saying a word. When she finally came over and honored us with her words, it still was not a pleasant tone. She refused to lower the nearly blasting music, until we persisted multiple times, when she lowered it a bit. We told her how she greeted us and that we want to speak to the owner, who wasn't there at the time. We went back to let our daughter play and try to accomplish our work. (Although working there was challenging with all the noise of music.) On our way out, we realized the owner had arrived. We stood by the register waiting for the owner to finish her task. When the owner noticed us, she and the barista started whispering back and forth for actually a little while, before she came over to us, also with a very interesting tone. We realized talking to her would likely be useless, hence the review. If you look like a typical person in our society - not any type of minority - feel free to come here.

The staff here are super friendly/ personable & I really enjoy the atmosphere of the place (perfect for a rainy or snowy day). Their Glimmer sandwich is to die for. A lot of coffee options as well!
Going to miss supporting this small business once I move in a month.
This place is so adorable. It's very sustainable with their reusable cups & plates. Extremely kid friendly with an entire play place in the back that brings McDonalds to shame. The kids can either play by themselves while parents drink coffee or parents can join in the fun! If you don't have kids, the Cafe & kid area are kept separate so you can still enjoy their great menu of drinks & food.
