I would give zero star if there is an option. The food is decent enough but the way they treat the customers, waiting time and service is terrible. We asked the menu card for desserts they never gave us but we have been given with the bill. It took almost 1 hour to service the main course.

My first time eating Ethiopian food. I loved some of it and felt other items fell short. Portions sizes were ok but on the small side, no left overs here, so a tad overpriced. The Tibs Combo was not consistent. The Chicken Tibs was delicious while the lamb and beef were very tough. The Veggie Combo sides of Gomen collard greens were sharp tasting and bland. The Shiro chick peas were very good. The Quosta spinach was excellent and loved by all. The Yatkilt Wat of greens beans, potatoes and carrots was also excellent with a nice spiciness. The Injera bread grew on me but was tasteless. I would return to try other sides and stick with the chicken. Food was 3* and service was 4*.

Who knew that a diamond in the rough resides in a strip mall on the corner of Clark and Howard in Chicago? The place is low key, no frills in the decor but the food is worth the visit. Check out the pictures. You and your party order your selections, the food all gets thrown onto a platter that is lined with a quirky looking rag and sponge like texture bread which, is tasty. I ordered mild items and everything was delicious. I recommend you try it.

This was our second time here. Last time it felt that place needs more hygiene practices and this time we actually saw a huge fly on our plate. We didn't create any fuss as we were almost done with food and child with us was sleepy, we just paid and left quickly without any voice. Chances of going there again are zero. They need better cleanliness.
