I came for the oysters. I love grilled and char broiled oysters. Etta was recommended to me for their grilled oysters. I had the chili-lime butter oysters with cilantro and tajin. What wonderful flavors. A burst of lime uplifted the dish adding to the lasting taste. The only downside is really more of a personal bias. Though amazing tasting, I expected the oyster to be a bit more grilled and also larger. These oysters were quite tiny and also a bit undercooked for my taste. Despite that, I enjoyed them. The other item I ordered was recommended by my very helpful waitress. The wagyu meatballs were out of this world flavorsome. Garlic, tomato and giardinera left a lingering and tangy loveliness.

The host was rude, made no eye contact, and was short with us, which was an unfortunate first impression for this restaurant, we almost left. but i'm glad we didn't because the food was ammaaazinggg, and our server was nice. We will be back!

Had brunch at Etta Bucktown on Sunday around 12:30 pm. Pulled up on a casual weekend and snagged a spot on the rooftop — service was super friendly, staff didn’t miss a beat between rounds. Food was fire: the wood‑fired focaccia w/ ricotta & honey + margherita pizza, ricotta pillows, Young Farm Caesar salad and an espresso martini to close it out—everything hit just right¹. Zero complaints, neighborhood gem. 5★

Family style dining and Adrienne made us feel like family. She was such a fabulous server. Knowledgeable about the food and wine, great recommendations. Perfect atmosphere and ambiance. We ordered the boiling shrimp, whipped potatoes, a caesar salad and the ribeye steak. All were cooked to perfection without feeling heavy after. 10/10 recommend 👌

Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Bucktown. They have an extensive menu my favorite is their wood-fired mushroom pizza combined with their Young Farm Greens salad. They also have a great selection of local brews and mixed drinks.

They have two levels (bar on each level) with the upper level as patio style seating. They can open the top so the air can flow.

This was my first time here, a friend and I came on a Monday so it was pretty quiet. We sat on the rooftop patio after work. Loved that we could sit outside. We ordered an appetizer and an entree each along with two drinks. Everything was phenomenal. I gave service a 4 only because at one point we couldn’t find our server for the longest and we wanted more drinks and halfway through someone different checked on us but then also left so we were confused. Otherwise we had a great experience

This was the first meal I’ve had in years that was 10s across the board. Every single thing we got was one of the best things we’ve ever had. You HAVE to get the bubbling shrimp. It was insane. The pasta with lemon and some sort of ‘fondue’ sauce was not too heavy but absolutely perfect. The spring salad with the touch of radish felt farm to table with how fresh it was. 10/10 this is my fav place in Chicago

Had brunch on 5/31/25, food & service quite good. Pay in cash, as there will be shenanigans if you use a debit/credit card. Tipped in cash and the restaurant saw fit to add $10 to the bill anyway. Poor form.

I came here with a group 6 and ordered various dishes and appetizers to share. Everything that we ordered was delicious! I love the ambiance of the rooftop. Definitely will be back!

Appetizers were amazing, and the server went out of his way to make something for us, which was generally served only at dinner.
Well decorated and has plenty of space.
The mains weren't that great...
The bubbling shrimp turned out to be more like a Thai curry served with Naan and the Pizza was ok.
