Literally the best deep dish in Chicago and I’ve had them all. The ambiance is amazing - I absolutely love this place!

Meat balls and sauce were Amaze-balls!! Best deep dish pizza I have ever had. Overall great experience. Sad we don't live closer.

My dad had been going to exchequer pub for about 35 years before he passed away. It was one of his favorite places downtown! My husband and I went there to pay homage to my dad and prior to the Chicago Symphony. It was an excellent experience and we will go again. My only complaint is that I had planned to order thin crust pizza just like my dad. After drinks and a great shared harvest salad course the waiter came to take our dinner order - he said the pizza would take at least 40 minutes! I wish he would have told us that when we first sat down as I would have placed the order right away. I did not expect a thin cross pizza to take 40 minutes. We could not get it as we would have been late for the symphony. We traveled more than three hours for the experience and unfortunately we'll have to try again next time!

I have seen Exchequer for years and tried it before a concert. The deep-dish pizza was spectacular and the cocktails were excellent. Our server, Niko, was very helpful, and all his recommendations were spot-on. I will definitely be adding Exchequer to my pre- and post-show options for concerts and shows in Chicago.

Best oniion rings EVER! Sandwiches were hard topick up and eat. I justcut mine up. Peppers and onionswere so tasty. AuJus was too salty. Beef was pressed and not authetnic. that was a disappointment. Waiter was great ! Food came quiclky. I want to t ry their pizza next time.

Was a real authentic Chicago experience. You could feel the history. Food was tasty and our server was really good. Would definitely go back for more.

For lunch we had the reuben sandwich and the Italian Beef. We were pleasantly happy to see our meals came out promptly. The beers we ordered were cold & delicious. Service was prompt and our waitress stopped by to ask how our meals were. Most important, we stayed to chat for a while and our waitress did not interupt us at all.

Nice old speakeasy vibe. Salad was very good. Hamburger was pretty good, chicken tenders pretty good. Nice waitress. A little pricey, but downtown Chicago.

My group loved the restaurant's atmosphere, relaxed vibe, contemporary menu, personable and friendly staff, and its close proximity to parking and The Auditorium Theater.

I always enjoy going to Exchequer with friends and/or family. The Pizza's are wonderful and the servers are attentive and friendly. I have never had a bad experience at Exchequer and that includes lunches, dinners and a private party. For me, the best pizza is the Chicago Deep Dish. For non-pizza lovers, they have ribs, burgers and more. Price is very reasonable for downtown Chicago.

What a fantastic evening. Service, food and atmosphere were great. We had a reuban, pizza, and Proabition burger. We also had cheese curds and the buffalo wings. Everything tasted fantastic. Would highly recommend and will visit again.

Great steaks, fabulous onion rings and generous portioned cocktails, all for a very reasonable price, considering we were in downtown Chicago's theatre district.

The food was good and well priced. We had an event at Roosevelt University and it was very comvenient.

Our meal at Exchequer was tasty! We split the vodka rigatoni with sausage and a small crispy pizza. Both were very yummy, good portions and came out hot! It was a Monday night, so it wasn't very busy but that let us get a good look at the decor. It was fun looking at the different posters displayed. Our server was nice and gave good recommendations. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Food and service were amazing. I had the pomegranate martini and my table shared salad, ribs and rigatoni with vodka sauce. So good will come back next time we're in Chicago! Our server showed us to the speakeasy and we had another cocktail great time!
