The restaurant/bar was cozy and chic. The drinks were excellently made and the staff were all nicely. My bartender, Dan, was very knowledgeable about the drinks and gave great sightseeing advice. Highly recommend! 10/10.

We started with the daily smoothie and the base was mixed berries. I love smoothies but don’t get them often because places just don’t do it right, but I was impressed with this one. The iced vanilla latte also hit the spot to the point where we actually got one to go. For food we split the smashed avocado toast with the addition of smoked salmon on top. I really liked this, and it was actually my favorite item we ordered, loved the chili crisps and everything bagel seasoning. My friend Alec got the Chicken Caesar Wrap which was good, but it could’ve used a little more chicken. The west coast breakfast burrito I liked more, but it was kinda on the salty side from the hash brown which was the only down side, but this thing is freaking huge and if I were to come back, I would get the smashed toast and those drinks.

couldn't be happier with a neighborhood cafe for remote work and great food. music slaps. nighttime has been fun too. i've been to a few events recently during the bar hours and it's been a hit. Very grown and sexy.

Great ambience! I went there to get some work done but I started to have fomo when the most incredible DJ was playing for a day party there! Must visit to meet some cool people. It seemed like a bunch of digital nomads enjoying the vibe. Definitely going there and drinking the next time

Fresh, fun, and fabulous! This restaurant was listed as one of the best brunches in the West Loop, so we thought we'd give it a try, and we were not disappointed. I had the BLT which was served on a pizza crust with delicious candied bacon mayonnaise tomato onion and lettuce. My son and his girlfriend had Cobb salad French toast and breakfast sandwich. For drinks we had a bloody mary which didn't look so fancy but was delicious and flavor, a cappuccino and because they were out of fruit for the Smoothie just water. Everything was spectacular and the decor and atmosphere was very appealing. The service was spectacular. I highly recommend and would definitely return.

I made a reservation for the patio on Saturday 8/31, I walk up and the patio is packed out a loud DG, bottle service, and guests smoking weed. As I was looking to enjoy a solo, casual afternoon lunch, I went into OpenTable to cancel my reservation as I did not want to be around that type of crowd, Expat had already checked in the reservation, even though I had not gone into the building. I opted for somewhere else on Randolph.

Curious why they use this app to take reservations, as the host said it was open seating. Thankfully (?) it was nearly empty, if there weren't open seats, I'd have been upset that I made a “reservation” that they would not honor

Loved everything about the place as far as drinks and aesthetics goes. Perfect for a coffee or drink.

One of my favorite places in the city. The menu is literally a work of art, and the decor reminds me of cafes I’ve been in SE Asia. Cocktails are fantastic and creative, and the bartenders I’ve had thus far are incredibly attentive. Great live music often as well. Totally recommend.

I saw this place on tik tok under cozy cafe's people can get work done at and im not sure how people get work done here. I visited on a Saturday around noon by myself. Place had about 2 tables of people, so not busy. I sat towards the back, but didnt get any service for dine in until I physically had to get up and go to the bar to let them know I had not received service. The waitress was tending to the tables of people, but not me so I was confused. I dont want to accuse anyone of the service being the way it was because I was the only black person in the establishment, but it kind of felt that way. I ordered at the bar instead of having the waitress come to me, I didnt like that. The food came out at a reasonable speed and was pretty good. The part that was extremely confusing to me was that the place is advertised as a cafe by day and club by night, but the staff opened the glass doors to the patio and had a live DJ spinning at a cafe??? I came there to read my book and have a bite to eat and instead it was cut short because of the DJ and staff moving furniture around constantly. Service was trash, food was good, atmosphere was not as described. I experienced it and wont be back when there are actual cafe's with better service and calm atmosphere.

We went for brunch on a Saturday. Service was quite slow (although everyone was nice). We asked for water three times before they finally brought it over. Our food came out before the water. No one came back to check on us during the meal, and our parking was up so eventually we got up and paid at the front on our way out. The service speed and lack of attention felt like dining out in Europe lol so maybe the name fits.

The food was just regular. Also all 4 soap/lotion pumps in the women’s restroom were empty.

Cute aesthetic, but with so many excellent cafes in Chicago, there’s no reason for me to return to this one.

The cafe is not family friendly. They are understaffed, didn't have decaf options and were out of smoothies. Also, the lemonade that they offered as substitute for all the non-alcoholic drinks they didn't have was not fresh, just sugar with an artificial flavor. We are not coming back here.

Great cafe/bar to get some work done, decent food menu and lots of cocktails to choose from. Service was friendly and relaxed. Free WiFi and solid playlist. Bohemian loft/lounge vibe with lots of comfy seating and an outdoor patio.

I sat down and I waited for 40 minutes before I had to flag someone down to order a coffee and breakfast. The service was unacceptable. No one came to check to see if we needed anything after we received our food and no one came to even bring the check. I had to ask for it 30+ minutes after we finished eating. Then the waiter did not show us the bill just asked for the card to charge it. It was not a pleasant experience and I will not be returning. Such a shame.
