What a phenomenal night. Our server was a diamond and she was training in a new server through the evening too. The food was paced wonderfully and we enjoyed each and every course. The Armagnac old fashioned was off the hook and the tastes of Armagnac at the end were an incredible classy send off to end the evening. Thank you. We will return.
Great dining experience. Our server was very helpful on food suggestions. Dinner was delicious and moderately priced. Very cosy atmosphere. Awesome for a date night!!
The service was really bad—once we got our meal and drinks, we were ignored. I had to go to the bar for any further needs. They charge a credit card surcharge and an automatic 18%, so I guess they figure they don’t need to earn a tip. Couldn’t recommend less. And the food was unseasoned.

Attended a private party, the event was first class, highly recommended. There were passed appetizers, signature drinks, meal served family style and dessert with champagne. The staff was on point

You guys need to respond to your complaints on both racism and classism.
Additionally, went in once and asked to sit outside (in a polite normal way, I’ve done service work, I get it) and some little man threw a fit, huffing puffing, and sighing. We were waiting for like ten minutes after and we ended up leaving because it was so weird. We weren’t wearing Armani so maybe that’s why? I’ll spend good money on food but I’d rather go elsewhere. Bleh
Horrible experience. They only prioritize a certain group of people and will have you waiting over an hour just to get in. The music and the environment was not even worth the wait. I will NEVER come back here again. Save your money and go elsewhere.
The ambiance of this restaurant was incredible! The service was also outstanding. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, will be coming back!
Our first visit to Expat was not quite the experience we had hoped for. We came specifically for the $10 Cheeseburger Day promotion, but unfortunately, what we were served didn't match the pictures we saw. The patty, a 1/4-inch in thickness is fairly sized, but was barely visible between the beefier-sized bun. The meat itself was bland and unseasoned, and the 'toppings' were lackluster at best—wilted lettuce and tomato sitting under the patty made for a soggy bottom bun. There were no onions, pickles, or special sauce to enhance the burger's flavor. I don't usually use, but there was no S&P on the table. On the plus side, the cheese was nicely melted.
I tried to salvage the burger a few times: I added dijonnaise to the top bun after a few bites, then rearranged the lettuce and tomato on top of the patty, and finally repositioned the burger to try to avoid the sogginess of the bottom bun. The patty seemed to be fried but lacked any real sear, and its uniform shape gave the impression of being mass-produced.
The shoestring fries, (not included with the promotion) were seasoned decently but were soggy and lukewarm. The dijonnaise served with the fries was flavorful, but the ketchup had an overly vinegary taste.
There is a limited selection of three beers—two lagers and a house pilsner, which they were unfortunately out of. Service was decent, but as others have said, there are automatic tip, service, and surcharge fees added.
It was dimly lit and I was not comfortable snapping pics.
On the positive side, there was no wait for a table around 7 PM, and the decor, ambiance, and music were all enjoyable. It looks like better reviews for brunch and can imagine also having a pretty daytime atmosphere.
All in all, it was a disappointing visit, especially for a place with such promise. We may give it another shot in the future, but based on this experience, we won't be in a rush to return.

I ordered on uber eats and they gave me a half portion without communicating that it would be a half portion so i’m leaving this review cause that was pretty bogus

We waited about 10 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was empty and there was no hostess around. Our cocktails were forgotten, and when we finally got our food, the chicken with rice was undercooked. When we mentioned it, the staff admitted they already knew the rice wasn’t good but said they couldn’t fix it. Very disappointing experience

Food is very salty. For brunch they ran out of eggs. Disappointing.

Came here on a Saturday night and only the front bar was open. Two drinks came to $52, due to an 18% service charge. Not worth the price considering half of it was closed.

perfect place for a bday dinner! the atmosphere and layout of the space was so gorgeous and classy. the menu was mostly in french, but nothing google translate couldn't fix. the food was divine and the service even more so! i reserved my booking under the Girl's Night Out experience and i have no regrets! after our dinner, the server invited us behind the bar for specialized, hand-crafted cocktails that left me craving more! after that, he escorted to us the adjacent bar, expat, for us to continue our evening. truly was 10/10 experience! thank you, coquette & em!

I had an absolutely horrifying experience at Expat. As a group of black women simply trying to enjoy our night, we were met with blatant racism from the bouncer, a black man. He told us things like, “Y’all are at the bottom of my list” and “This is why I don’t like Black people” completely unprovoked after being met with respect, patience, and understanding for the policies.
This wasn’t just unprofessional. It was dehumanizing, humiliating, and deeply disturbing. No one should be spoken to that way, ever. I’m beyond disappointed and absolutely furious that this kind of behavior is tolerated here. It is sickening.
To management: Do better. If this is the kind of staff you employ, you are complicit in fostering an environment that is unsafe and unwelcoming to patrons.
I will never return, and I strongly urge others to reconsider supporting this establishment.
