If you're in the mood for over priced mediocre pizza, this is the place. Thought we'd give a try as it's close to us and walking distance for pickup, but at the end of the day it's nothing special. And I'm sorry, but if you are in such a rush to put out pizzas and can't do a well done pizza properly it's the first and last time I do pizza at a place. Well done, means well done. Not floppy under done pizza.

Go To Ricobenes!!! had the breaded steak sandwhich was hard thin and chewy doesnt taste like it use to... was 20.00 down the drain. PLEASE do bot get the breaded steak unless you want to regret it.

Just had a disappointing experience at this place. Refused to correct a mistake on an order (asked for some sauces on the side that weren't). I asked for a new order and they offered me a 20% credit instead.

I would avoid going here if order accuracy matters to you (if you have kids for example), go somewhere else because the policy is to shrug their shoulders.

I've been coming here for years so it's a bummer to have to find a new spot over something so stupid.

Never heard of Freddie's but I'm on a pizza mission here in Chicago. So upon my search results from google, I did some investigating to see if it's worth a visit. I'm willing to go again and try something else, they have other items that I want to test. I love milkshake so the fact they make them by hand and not from a ice cream machine is huge. Also they have flavored ice slushy drinks as well, and from the Youtube video I saw, you can get some Alcohol or even CBD put in the ice slushy drinks. That chocolate cake is also on my list, I need to confirm for myself if its worth multiple trips.

Now let's get to the food I ordered. The pizza is too soft, I like a nice crust it doesn't have to be super hard crispy but I like a crispier crust so don't misunderstand that. So for me if you are gonna have a super soft crust then that sauce better be extraordinary! it was not. It's not an awful pizza, but it's just not a wow, I need to hit up Freddies for pizza either, it works OK. But not for taking home the pizza failed my most important test, the reheat experience, talking about dried up desert style. It wasn't too bad the night before, so I was praying it would reheat well and it didn't. It was super dry just flabby dough and cheese in the reheat case dried dough. So for those with complaints of the sauce on the pizza not being enough I can say those complaints are valid. Ok another thing I want to say. They claim to make everything from scratch well, those chicken wings aren't made from scratch no way on earth. They get them from a Restaurant store that supplies a lot of the food joints here in Chicago. I have been there and I have tried the wings and those are the same wings, I would be mind blown if they were to tell me those are made in house. I wouldn't believe it unless they showed me personally. Also the bbq sauce they provide for the wings well that's not all that great either, almost taste like it came from a bottle. Everything isn't all bad, loved the salad, it came in huge bowl, almost way too much salad I think it's enough for 3 people to have a nice small amount. I ordered fries as well. Happy to say they got that right, the fries are nice at Freddie's. Overall at best Freddie's is a 3 but for me this place is just OK! Now if and when I go back and I find something I will be willing to edit my score! promise on that. I am going to update once I try something else.
As far as the staff, everyone was on their business doing what they were supposed to do. As to why I am giving them a little lower score? It is counter personnel. Why do places higher people with bad attitudes and energy the guy at the counter had a crappy attitude, it was very subtle, he wasn't rude or said anything but you can tell he was on his monthly deal, making those I'm irritated with you looks, Y'all know what I'm talking about. Like we were asking for too much or bothering him by asking for something, as if he didn't like the way we ordered. It wasn't just with me either, I happened to be standing at the counter and I watched him interact with other customers it was the same pissy energy. Service for me is important and when you have employees that have crap energy they bring that energy to your establishment and dish it out to everyone that comes into your business, Hire better employees find people with great positive energy. Then if your foods sucks or is just okay, no one will have much to say.

I've been a Bridgeport resident and Freddies lover my entire life! The food here is so good, legit can't complain about any of it. The fries are always crispy. The sandwiches of the week are great. Soups are so filling. The people are always so down to earth and nice.

The reason for my rating is: IT'S ALWAYS DIRTY. Sometimes I go and sit for my lunch, and each time, every table dirty asf. Once, I told the cashier, she cleaned like 3/4 tables, and left the rest dirty. I went today to grab something quick (Yes, I know it's Valentines Day, ya girl had to work late), yet again, EVERY table was dirty. At this point, it's like the norm for here, and I'm tired of saying something that's visually obvious. We sat at the least dirty table and had our din din. Napkins all over the floor and sitting next to tables with someones food droppings. Each time I've gone, it's not busy, and I've sat for about 30mins-1hour eating w no one trying to clean up. It's like they don't want anyone to dine in and from the other bad reviews I see, they get the same gist. It's not the welcoming place I grew up at anymore. They really just want to be a takeout spot n not cater to people sitting in.

I hope this review doesn't turn people away from coming to get food here. The food is usually fire and at a great price. I would just order for pick up instead.

A real mixed bag of a place. Great Italian Ice, above average Italian Beef. But then their pizza is on par with gas station pizza. The fries are awful too.

I come and get a slice of pizza every week. It is a generous portion and I go for the special for the month. A quick bite for a great price .

The Italian beef was definitely a unique take on it and it was pretty good for the style. A different flavor profile but didn’t mind it. Pizza was bad. Very unfortunate for a place that claims to that being one of their specialties. Minimal sauce on the pizza and ate like it’s been sitting there for days. Minimal ambiance inside and service was definitely not going out of their way to make you feel welcome.

they're liars and super unprofessional here. i placed an online pickup order for a cheese stuffed crust pizza and it was nothing like what i expected it to be. i called a day prior specifically asking if they offered cheese stuffed crust and was told yes by the guy on the phone, only to order online the next day for pickup and their stuffed crust is apparently a regular crust with the toppings baked inside the pizza and sauce on top..it was gross and a waste of $35. also ended up getting an upset stomach not long after 2 bites. really disappointed as the whole thing went in the trash. managers said they'd escalate to the owners for a refund, days went by with no update so when i called back, they said they can't give a refund.
