The cashier women 5’5 with a head wrap on, was so rude I gave her my order and she said next, as if I wasn’t standing in front of her. Disgusting behavior.

This Muslim lady was my cashier and she tried to flirt with me and made me so uncomfortable, I didn’t even want my food

No cupholders for very hot coffee. No station where you can add your own cream/milk. When served one of our coffee was leaking from the sides (as in actively dripping even when put down). The stars are purely for the coffee (which was great) and the atmosphere.

Fairgrounds is my favorite Cafe in
UChicago. I can stay here the whole day for working, learning and reading. The taste of coffee is pretty good with different options provided.

A spacious and nice (yet overpriced) space to get some work done on campus. Yet, recently a new employee seems not to know what decent service means, and making basic things like placing an order or throwing trash difficult.

I come here all the time now to do work. There's a solid menu, a super good matcha chia pudding, a ton of very aesthetically pleasing space for working, free wifi, and lots of outlets. I regularly see people I know, too! I recommend if you are meeting with friends or working on your own. There's plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating.

Great atmosphere. Love coming here they always know my order and I even bring my friends when they are in the neighborhood. Always happy to see me coming and I love to stop by . Sweet potato bowl all time favorite. Matcha latte are whipped to perfection. Love it

Order my Uber. I asked for my espresso and turmeric tea to be iced only for everything to be piping hot in the summertime. This is the first and last time I will ever spend money here espresso, tea, and avocado toast $20 avocado toast was disgusting.

Okay drinks (overpriced) but the food is almost inedible and ridiculously priced. I got avocado toast and it tasted as unappetizing as it looks :/
