I would say this is a middle of the range middle eastern cuisine spot. Consistently tasty, fast service and friendly staff. I like their beef shawarma.it is juicy and has good amount of meat and other ingredients .. is not dry . I would not rate it as a top Chicago middle eastern spot ..but a consistent, good one in this neck of Edgewater/ RP.

Definitely recommend if you ever need catering or to place a large family style order. The food is delicious, fresh, and made with care. Our company host an annual thanksgiving lunch for our staff, and falafel kabab grill was able to accommodate our order for 60 people and able to get it delivered to our store on time. They made the entire process super smooth and the owner was extremely friendly and happy to accommodate our time constraints. The food is lovely and it feels good supporting a neighborhood restaurant and not a chain. Thanks so much!!!

Falafel Kebab's staff are nice, however, the food is terrible. The meat is dry and the flavor pallet is not representative of authentic Mediterranean food. Please do not eat here is you are looking for good food.

I've given this place a few chances hoping the experience would get better but unfortunately it's consistently just ok. It seems that most everything is a little underseasoned, especially the chicken. The rice is bland and a little gummy, the pita tastes like it's straight out of a bag, and overall, everything costs too much to balance out the quality. I will say the service has always been friendly and the mint limeade is quite good.
