While out walking around the Mag Mile looking for a bar or club we stumbled upon Fame. Despite feeling like we overdressed we were treated like regulars by staff and other patrons. Had so much fun dancing to the house DJ who played amazing music all night. Drinks were perfectly mixed by our stunning bartender. For a Thursday night this super party was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks so much!

The guards at the gate are crooks and demand a sum of money in order to enter. This behavior is unprofessional. I hope those responsible hold them accountable.

I don’t often write reviews, but I’d like to record an incident while my memory is still fresh, and still a little angry.I attended an Halloween party that was hosted on sat night, a lot of people and most were in costumes. The environment was fun until later in the evening. One of the young lady attending was an attractive black girl in 2 piece costume. There was 2 old guy in the back, within the VIP area. there were just them and the security guards there, I guess they must have been part owner or something.First they were just standing there drinking and watching the crowds. But one of them got out and grabbed the young black lady and tried to drag her into the VIP area. She pushed back, and her body language looks like a clear no and she was backing away from those 2 creeps. What I saw next was just unbelievable, somehow those 2 creeps were able to get the security guards to escort the young lady out, she looks very pissed and scared and exited the clue with a few of her female friends.I understand if someone got unruly due to alcohol, and the security needed to escort them out to keep other customers safe. But what I saw is pure assault, and abuse of power. Considering the 2 old man was able to use the security guards as tools to commit such a thing. I guess they must have been important? Looks like the club environment is not safe or any young women, from a top down perspective.Unfortunately, there was a lot of people attending the party. It was very loud and everybody was busy dancing, I’m not even sure many people noticed the incident taking place.I myself only noticed since I was standing in the back, right beside the chairs separating the VIP area. After witnessing that, I left as well.It was suppose to be a fun night out, now I’m feeling sick from what I saw. I’m glad I’m accompanied by male companions and was able to leave quickly and safely. But I do hope the young lady was ok.As for the 2 old creeps, I hope you get what you deserve and karma gets you someday.

I was on a bar crawl that stopped here and the org had an agreement with Fame to charge $6 for their drink special but the bartender here charged me $8, and claimed that the tax was added onto the drink even though their was additional tax charged overall. I brought it up to the bartender but she refused to change it to the right price. The whole experience was a scam.

Had a terrible and traumatic experience last Saturday night 10/28/23 where I was hounded and bullied by security into paying a tab that did not belong to me nor my group. After exiting the bathroom I was cornered into their back hallway near the ATM, where I was forced by a security person to pay/Zelle back a patron that accosted me for not paying a tab that was obviously not mine. Security refused to allow me to speak & hear my side of the story, nor let talk to the bartender to settle the matter. INSTEAD, allowed the patron to take possession of my phone, log into my Chase app via facial scan, & and Zelle themselves money from my bank account WITHOUT my consent. (This was an unauthorized transaction btw- which is super ILLEGAL). This was a robbery and FAME's security allowed this to happen via coercion. Do NOT go here!

Visited with a friend who was later overcharged by $500 on a $30 bar tab . It's LITERALLY theft...

A Mixed Bag at Fame Club: Pricey Drinks, Lackluster Sound System, and Cramped SpaceRating: ★★★☆☆Review:I recently visited Fame Club for a night out with friends, and while the experience had its ups and downs, it left me with mixed feelings overall. I would rate it three out of five stars due to the combination of expensive drinks, a subpar sound system, and limited space.Let's start with the drinks. One thing that stood out immediately was the exorbitant prices. Fame Club definitely falls on the pricier end of the spectrum when it comes to beverages. While I understand that clubs often have higher prices, the cost here felt unjustifiably steep. It limited my ability to enjoy a variety of drinks throughout the night and left me with a lingering sense of disappointment.Another letdown was the sound system. Considering that a club's atmosphere heavily relies on music, it was disheartening to experience a subpar audio setup at Fame Club. The sound quality was mediocre at best, with muffled bass and inconsistent volume levels. It greatly affected the overall energy and ambiance, leaving me longing for a more immersive and vibrant musical experience.Furthermore, the space within Fame Club felt cramped. The layout of the venue did not provide ample room for comfortable movement and dancing. It seemed like the club was trying to accommodate as many patrons as possible, resulting in a congested and claustrophobic environment. This lack of space hindered the freedom to enjoy oneself fully and interact with others without feeling constantly squeezed in.However, it's worth noting that Fame Club did have some redeeming qualities. The staff members were friendly and attentive, doing their best to serve the customers efficiently. The overall decor and lighting were visually appealing, adding a touch of sophistication to the atmosphere. Additionally, despite the limited space, the crowd was lively and enthusiastic, contributing to a vibrant energy within the club.In conclusion, Fame Club is a mixed bag that leaves much to be desired. While the friendly staff and visually appealing ambiance create a decent experience, the expensive drinks, lackluster sound system, and limited space detract from its potential. If you're willing to overlook these shortcomings, you may still find some enjoyment in the overall atmosphere. However, for those seeking a more immersive and well-rounded club experience, it may be worth exploring other options.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at a local club where I encountered discriminatory practices, a demand for money, and a general sense of deceit surrounding their security procedures. The incidents I witnessed were deeply concerning and left me with a strong sense of dissatisfaction. Allow me to elaborate on my experience:Upon arriving at the club, I immediately noticed an unsettling atmosphere. The security personnel were selectively enforcing their entry policies, targeting individuals based on their appearance and ethnicity. It was disheartening to witness blatant discrimination and bias, as people were turned away for reasons unrelated to the club's dress code or capacity limitations. This practice is not only unjust but also perpetuates harmful stereotypes and divisions within our community.Adding to the frustration, it became apparent that money played an influential role in determining who could enter the club without issue. It seemed that those who were willing to pay additional fees were granted preferential treatment, bypassing the lengthy queues and the unnecessary scrutiny that others were subjected to. This pay-to-play approach is both unethical and unfair, as it creates a sense of exclusion and further exacerbates the divide between patrons.Furthermore, it became clear that the club's security measures were more for show than actual safety. While their advertisements boasted top-notch security protocols, it was evident that they were merely bogus claims aimed at deceiving customers. The security personnel paid minimal attention to potential threats or disorderly behavior within the club, focusing instead on enforcing their discriminatory policies. This lack of genuine concern for safety is not only a disservice to patrons but also poses a risk to everyone in attendance. In conclusion, my experience at this club left me deeply disappointed. The discriminatory practices, monetary demands, and overall lack of integrity exhibited by the security team created an atmosphere of exclusion and deceit. It is crucial for establishments like this to be held accountable for their actions and to foster an inclusive and fair environment for all patrons. I strongly discourage anyone from supporting this club until they rectify these issues and demonstrate a genuine commitment to equality and ethical conduct.
