Our waitress was so nice, the food was spectacular, it was easy to talk to everyone at my table, the food came out timely, no notes!

Vibe was perfect for fun & lively conversation along with amazing food and drinks! We enjoyed a late afternoon Saturday brunch and loved it... We tried a couple of Farm Bar's amazing cocktails and our So Cal guest sampled a few Tequilas served "neat" which met her standards for high-end blanco. Salads are huge and can easily feed two. I can also personally vouch for the Eggs Benedict - one of the best I've ever had. Cool music helps create the vibe at Farm Bar and an atmosphere where loud & lively conversation are the norm. All 3 of us where blown away by Farm Bar's Cheese Curds - imagine the best version you've ever had, no imagine it being better and you're getting close... Highly recommend - feel good about what you're eating and while you're eat!

What a cozy neighborhood gem we finally discovered. I'd been meaning to try Farm Bar when I saw such excellent reviews and looking over the menu, knew the Farm Bar Burger with Fries would be just right for my husband, and the Seared Salmon was an entree I couldn't resist. We shared the Farm Garden Salad to start with a delicious honey thyme vinaigrette; one order was plenty for 2 yet priced so reasonably at $14. The Farm Bar Burger featuring Slagel Farms beef was prepared exactly as ordered, and the burger and fries were served hot which is a must for my husband. I would go back for the North Road Salmon, cured in their special recipe brine and served over all my favorites - caramelized brussels, sweet potatoes, over a flavorful walnut puree and yet more walnut sage crumbles on top. This kitchen knows what it's doing! Lovely young server was so pleasant and attentive; extra points for remembering that my husband needed extra ketchup for his fries. With holiday decorations inside and strings of white lights outdoors, it was a perfect choice for a cold wintry night.

Second time in two weeks I enjoyed the seasonal flatbread with roasted sweet potatoes and house made apple butter - it is SO good! I also had the Harvest burger with an impossible patty for the first time...it won't be the last! Delish.

Our group had an incredible time! Even after I messed up our reservations (made them for the wrong day), the team was able to work with me to figure out how to accommodate our table of 5. Our server, Lexi, was full of *just* the right amount of enthusiasm and smiles--and it was clear she wanted us to have a great experience. Food was delish. Thanks so much for a terrific time.

Great attentive service. Brunch had great options, the chai espresso martini was a standout.

We were greeted right away by a super friendly bartender. We told him we had a reservation on OpenTable, and he seated us immediately. Our server, however, wasn't very friendly. She took our order, and right after we ordered, we asked to add the mac and cheese. When the food came out, the mac and cheese was missing. The food runner brought it out about five minutes later. The server checked in with us when most of our food was already gone. I don't complain much, but overall the food was just okay—it was our first time there. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, the fall salad, and shared the burger and mac and cheese. The apples in the Brussels sprouts felt like an afterthought; I couldn't tell if they were meant to be a garnish since they weren't cooked. The salads were average. The burger was decent. Service was so-so, except for the friendly bartender who seemed to be handling the entire room. The food wasn't particularly memorable, though the mac and cheese was decent.

We will definitely be back. The hostess was charming and we were seated at exactly the time of our reservation. Our server Veronica was beyond terrific; fun, engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. The appetizers, dinners and desserts were delicious! I can't remember the last time the service I experienced at a restaurant was as top notch as offered last night. Thank you for a great experience!!

Farm Bar is truly a hidden gem within the Lakeview neighborhood. It is the best gastropub in Chicago with a rotating menu that is mouth watering, unique and served by staff that make you feel like family. Farm Bar is truly a “can't miss” destination for foodies.

We had an excellent experience at Farm Bar. The food was delicious and our server was extremely friendly and helpful. We brought our baby and the staff assisted us in storing his stroller. Overall great experience! If you go, get the cheese curds!

Loved the food. Menu was seasonal and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. It was a little loud indoors but not to the point where I couldn't hear my conversation. The service was kind and polite and we received our food quickly!

Had higher hopes for the food and service but it was just okay. We ordered chai espresso martinis and cheese curds and got the cheese curds within 5 minutes but it took us over 20 minutes to get our drinks. Food is pricy for the value, good outdoor patio though

We love Farm Bar! Our daughter lives nearby, so we go all the time. Innovative cocktails, great menu and attentive service. Love the outside dining space. Never disappoints. Make a reservation!
