Drinks were GREAT - Loved the Bees Knees- happy hour was a plus- although the fun drinks weren't included - no vegan options at the Ravenswood location - the other spot has a plant based burger on the menu- thought that would be easy at the Ravenswood location too- but no. Restaurant was empty early on- we thought there was a rooftop from the pictures but that was actually a different restaurant-
Our experience at Farm Bar's rooftop restaurant, Arriba, was below par to say the least. Although there were very few people up there, our server didn't come to our table until I asked the bartender if we had to order from her. We ordered nachos. The chips appeared to be right out of a bag and the nachos were not impressive at all. Just an overall disappointing experience. We won't be returning.
We met friends from out of town at Farm Bar Ravenswood for dinner. Service was excellent. Food was good overall.
We had a really nice lunch with friends at Farm Bar. Everyone enjoyed their food and our waitress was lovely and attentive.
First time there. Food was great! Seems like they love to add dill to several things. Our server was just ok. She sat us at a tiny table even though the restaurant was mostly empty. She never made any recommendations or explained anything about the restaurant. Just a polite order taker, which is fine, but expected a bit more.
Overall good experience, a little pricey on some items but nice if you want to treat yourself or a date.
Food was amazing. Drinks were also terrific! Great spot in a perfect location. Kid friendly.
I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. It had a lot of flavor and was a delicious meal.
The service was slow and lackluster. Our server tried to deliver our food to another table twice. The mushroom dish was good but both burgers we ordered were overcooked and dry, despite ordering them medium and medium rare. It was disappointing.
Food was very good, staff attentive and accommodating. Ambiance is lively and upbeat. A little expensive but not outrageous. Rooftop perfect for pre-dinner cocktail, but does not allow bringing unfinished drinks to the dining room on first floor. One negative is that there is apparently an additional fee for paying your bill directly by using the QR code. This was not disclosed, so check your receipt.

The food was very average and Yuen appealing, and our server and rest of staff was unattended
We were with our 3 small kids. Everyone was very accommodating. Our waitress even let them play with the tractors sitting on the bar.
I'd like to see restaurants like Farm Bar tell customers about the “Chicago restaurant surcharge” in advance as opposed to surprising them on the bill, and in Farm Bar's case burying it within a so-called “tax”. Doesn't feel transparent nor like a place I'd like to go back to. If restaurants like Farm Bar are not making enough money, raise the prices of your offering.
We met friends and it was our first time with this new management. Creative and delicious cocktails, nice (if very noisy on a Saturday night) atmosphere, classic dishes and some creative ones. Only a few ice cream options for desserts, we ended up at the Greek ice cream place across the street.
Farm Bar is a great place to enjoy excellent food and great service. The happy hour prices are enticing and make it worth going early to enjoy 50% off apps and drinks. Callie delivers great service and has an amazing talent for dialing into the needs of the variety of patrons from special occasion diners to families with kids.
