Cash only - but ATM on premises. EVERYTHING is made fresh and comes out hot! Hot dog, delish. Fried chicken sandwich, delish. They also have Mello Yello. Chocolate malts are good! But not very malt-y, more of a shake. Very clean inside and has a very Chicago feel. Would recommend over Portillos.
Good food, however don't appreciate cash only places in 2021. The only bathroom is a very tiny room through the kitchen area with a small window that can easily be seen through from the street? Not cool...Overall friendly staff. Have indoor and outdoor spots to eat.
I admit when I told them extra cheddar cheese on my hamburger, chicken, & patty melt sandwiches I liked how they poured it on. Still, I wanted salt & black pepper already on my fries before I got them while they were still hot. Instead they didn't salt my fries they just gave me salt packages. I like my fries already seasoned, not me trying to hurry somewhere so I can put salt on my fries which is what I had to do. The fried chicken wasn't seasoned at all, luckily...
