Fat Chris's Pizza and Such

Fat Chris's Pizza is in a word "Fantastic". If you haven't been there you are missing out on great Detroit style pizza. Also, they have one of the greatest creations known to man. They are called Chubbies, and they are more than fantastic, possibly transcendent. They look a bit like a croissant 🥐 but that's where the similarities end. They are in actuality, Garlic bread with Pepperoni and cheese folded and baked to damn near perfection. Worth driving there just to try these, but you'd be missing out on great pizza if you just did that. Go now...literally.

I've never dined in at Fat Chris's so I can't actually speak on atmosphere, but I love the Detroit style pizza. I order delivery regularly and it always is correct & delivered earlier than the ETA.
I got the 8 slice Detroit style with giardinara & the cheesysticks and both were 🔥🔥. & yes, all that was just for me, even though I was beyond full after a few breadsticks & a slice. With delivery fee, tax, and tip it was ~$40 and I'll get at least 3 meals out of it. Cheaper than Jets with a crispier crust, which I love.

Vegetarian options: It's pizza...so obviously you can create endless veg options for yourself. It's not specifically vegetarian, which I much prefer anyway since I'm not into fake meat & just stick with copious amounts of cheese and some vegetables. The pizza roll things do have pepperoni in them, though so be aware of that.

I’d love to add a photo of my pizza and chubbies, but truth be told, they are already gone. I’m a native of Michigan, and a friend of mine (also from Michigan) recommended Fat Chris’s to me and said this was potentially the best place in Chicago to enjoy a legit Detroit-style pizza. He wasn’t wrong! There are two other places my Michigan friends have suggested to me in Chicago for authentic Detroit pizza, but Fat Chris’s is so good, I haven’t wanted to try anywhere else. The sauce is perfect, and cheese melts over the sides just right. The Goods pizza is my personal favorite, and you’ve got to try the chubbies (pepperoni rolls) with ranch dressing.

Also, you can make sure that my car was not parked near your establishment, if you have cameras, you can see that there were no parking lots near your establishment. I parked my car far from the establishment. Firstly, it was necessary to create conditions if you work with delivery and require waiting on the street, for example, parking spaces, a place for couriers in the establishment, and not ask them to wait on the street, like poor relatives.

I love this place. I’ve never eaten in, but carry out is always fast, the staff is always friendly, and the pizza is always great! This was my first Detroit style pizza experience and I love it, I’m sold!

Fat Chris pizza is Amazing. Fresh toppings, perfect sauce! Get the Goods or the Buffalo chicken on the Detroit style you will NOT be disappointed!

Absolutely spot on Detroit style pizza. Sauce on top where it belongs. Gooey/chewy bread with a perfectpy snappy crispy crust. Faygo cans adds to that Detroit nostalgia. I recommend this place to all our friends, it has quickly become our favorite pizza place in the city.
