Been here for weeks for convention. Really hoped to see your blond female bartender sober at least one night during my visits.
Still waiting for it to happen.

I guess we just went on a off night?? Food was mid. Service was horrible. There for a Birthday so was ready to have fun. Music was on point...but ugh

In service industry btw so hate leaving bad reviews...I usually just don't go back...this definitely warranted the review .

was excited to celebrate my boyfriends birthday here but unfortunately it wasn’t much of a celebration . our server was nowhere to be found for at least 20 minutes so luckily we got drinks from a younger man who was very kind and helpful . the food came out quick but it was lukewarm at most . we weren’t told which drink was what and our server only checked on us once and that was when we had already gotten the check from the younger server mentioned earlier .

i work in the service industry so i hate to leave reviews like this but i feel like it should be addressed ! it was the night of 3/22

Service was awful, took 20+mins just to have our drink order taken. Orders were incorrect. Server blamed it on a shift change, yet even after supposed shift change she was MIA.

If you don’t want to waste your time and money don’t come to this place. The worst manger and place ever. This was the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been in. We came all the way from another state to enjoy Chicago and made reservations. First, the restaurant didn’t let us seat down cause they were still full which was fine. Second, they made us order appetizers cause we are a big group and they didn’t give everyone appetizers and had 5 different tables for us, why not share the appetizers accordingly for everyone and telling us after most people have finished the food??? Why not make the tables joined better ??? They told us not everyone can get the appetizers. The chairs weren’t enough and they made us take it our selves . They didn’t give a friend of mine her drink she had to go get it her self !!!
I can keep typing but it’s not worth it to keep typing because they won’t do nothing
Useless place fr !!!!

nothing special - over priced bar food with a nicer atmosphere than going to a dive bar.

Terrible forgetful service on a very slow evening. I've never reviewed a bar before but this one is horrible. Needs new staff

Had a reservation, but it wasn't busy at all. From the time we were seated till the server came to us was 15 minutes. He only had 3 tables total. Another person who was seated after us, went to the bar and sat since he wasn't being served. We could hear him complaining that he wasn't being served as well. We almost walked out as well. Once we did order our drinks, then our meals, our server came back and asked if we were ready to order. We thought maybe he didn't put our order in, he only had 3 tables. The food was great, that server needs to find another job, serving isn't for him.

Visiting Chicago with my son, checking out Illinois Tech. Stayed at a nearby hotel in McCormick, making this an easy choice for our evening meals. We ate here twice, both times very satisfied with the food.

The music felt a bit too loud as we often had to repeat ourselves, despite sitting next to each other. Sometimes the groups of people were a bit too boisterous, despite there not being any games on the telly. But shruggles; you can't regulate everything. We knew the risk of a sports bar.

The service was excellent, very attentive (perhaps a smidge too attentive, but that's hardly a serious flaw). Not once did our ice water come close to being drained. The presentation of the food was adequately artful. The portions were more than sufficient for us. It was all scrumptious and satisfying.

We had the cajun salmon sandwich, the maple bacon burger, the bbq chicken and avocado pizza, and the double-layered baked nachos (not in all in the same meal, mind you, but between two evenings).

We had sides of fruit, mac and cheese, fries, mushrooms, and parmesan Brussels sprouts. No complaints for any of these, but the highlights were the fresh fruit (properly ripe and firm and fresh) and the Brussels sprouts.

Oh, yes, the Brussels sprouts were simply stupendous. The nachos were properly packed with toppings. The maple bacon made one reminisce about childhood's winter mornings nearly lathered with real maple syrup. A taste of comfort in every bite. And that cajun salmon sandwich...moist, flaky, spicy goodness that nearly melted in your mouth.

I hope I can arrange to stay nearby again whilst visiting my son over the next few years. May it be!

The food was decent, but the waiter was not. The restaurant was not busy but he seemed in a hurry. He made no small talk or recommendations, was impolite and curt from the start. Then he intentionally delayed taking our bill because in his mind we took too long to order. The manager needs to teach some basic waiting skills or send his ass to McDonalds if he wants to be in a fast paced environment.
