We originally planned a bridal shower in the restaurant, but like so many others, we opted to have a small outside gathering instead. As we are familiar with the fabulous food from Fennel and Iris, we catered the Fennel and Iris salad, caprese open faced sandwiches, fruit salad, and Kathy’s famous chicken salad. Every single item was outstanding. Party members said it was some of the best party food they have ever eaten. My family and I are eternally grateful we could enjoy our experience without having to cook! We will continue to support Kathy and Fennel and Iris in every capacity. Keep them in mind for your gatherings or outdoor picnics - you will not regret it!

We recently held my daughter's baby shower at Fennel & Iris, and we could not have been happier with the venue. We did the full café buyout, which is a great option. The space itself is charming - eclectic and warm with lovely furnishings and artwork. More importantly, Kathy, the café owner/manager, and her staff were superb from start to finish. Kathy was accommodating, patient with my many requests/questions, and responsive. When we arrived at the café on the day of the shower everything was arranged perfectly. The tables were beautifully set, including fresh flowers, and the additional tables we had requested for shower games/party favors/etc. were ready as well. Kathy was helpful and flexible when we were planning the menu. We ended up mixing and matching items from her standard menus, did the BYOB mimosa bar (in addition to the included coffee/tea/juice), and added cupcakes (chocolate and caramel - yum!) for dessert. Brunch was served buffet-style, and Kathy also personally served the guests after everyone's initial run through the buffet line. The food was plentiful and truly delicious, and we had many people rave about the variety and quality of the brunch. Finally, the flow of the event was perfect. We had time to visit before brunch, time for shower games before and after opening presents, and time to mingle again at the end. As you can tell, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fennel & Iris as the place to host your next event!

Just had a bridal shower, food was delicious, decor was rustic with different style plates and tea cups. Mason jars to drink cold beverages . Kathy is very accommodating and her staff is wonderful too. Very charming venue ! Highly recommend !!

It was super easy to contact Kathy and reserve the space. She was super accommodating with putting together the menu of what would be served for my guests. All of the food was super fresh and prepared wonderfully. The space is absolutely beautiful and all of my guests could not stop talking about how cute the decor is. It was exactly what I was looking for for my baby shower. I would highly recommend for small private events.

Fennel & Iris is such a wonderful, beautiful and fun place to house a intimate bridal shower. We just had my daughters shower there this past weekend and from the first conversation with Kathy, I was convinced this was the place. She was very helpful and gives her time to make sure all questions are answered. The ambiance of the place and the food were reviewed by all attending to be exceptional and unique.
I had my baby shower here it was a nice and intimate place to have a party and seats a max of 40pp. We ordered steak sandwiches, green beans, roasted potatoes and strada which is like an egg bread pudding (very good) I had two helpings. The food was very good with the exception of the steak sandwiches. The meat seemed to be cooked the day before then chilled (I thought the sandwich would be served warm). Because the meat was pre-prepped and sat cold, the meat became tough and fatty (difficult to chew). The bread that the steak was served on was on was kind of hard too...not super fresh. It is a small operation very Mom and Pop so not alot of hands to help production. In all we had a very nice experience and we all enjoyed ourselves very much.

This restaurant is so quaint. I attended a wedding shower here. The quiche was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the chocolate waffles! I loved the coffee, too.
