First time to this Cajun New Orleans place. Was initially put off because they didn't have oysters, but made for it with a superior seafood gumbo. The real pleasant surprise was a sampling of four absinthes. All the required trimmings. It was great. Also had boubon, brandy
This was my first time coming here. I didn't know there would be a brunch so this was a really good deal. We got the fried green tomatoes as a starter. They were pretty good but it was a little different with the pickled cauliflower. I ordered the gator hash. It was very good. They have a great menu with plenty of options. The vegetarian options are very limited. We had ordered the seafood jambalaya and something with alligator (i don't remember the name). Both were served with rice which made this meal plenty filling. Both dishes had the right amount of spice and flavor. Leftovers the next day tasted just as good!
