The ambiance is lovely and a very cute spot for dates. The wines were lovely and some of the dishes were amazing (looking at you, pork belly). The service was a bit wonky. The server did NOT want to be there and made it very apparent. They forgot our wine and our food came first but they did make up for it with a heavy pour. I'd go back but a beer leery of the service quality. The menu looks good enough to want to try more items.

An excellent and unique menu with excellent service. The server was well versed on the wines and how they paired with the food. A terrific experience.

I have now been to itoko for both happy hour and brunch and can say both were absolutely fantastic!

Went to this place as a little gathering of friends! I would say that the place itself is very cute, rather small but intimate. The service was fine, the server coursed everything correctly, but he was a bit hard to hear as he was soft spoken, but wouldn't ding anyone one on that. The cocktails were not as enjoyable, I got the plum sangria and felt like compared to the ingredients that the drink was rather one dimensional, I had an espresso martini after and honestly was one of the worst i've had, not sure what happened there but the drink was insanely imbalanced.

My main issue with this place was that their tapas were 16 dollars, which is a reasonable price besides the fact the tapas was smaller than what I am used to. I can go to another place within the city and pay half the price for the tapas and get a higher portion amount. It's interesting to see that their tapas are 16, but then a full portion of pasta is only 21.

Overall I think this is a cute place, the service wasn't bad, the food was okay in flavor, but I don't think the cost is there.

My recommendation to them would be to make it very clear when booking a reservation that "hightop tables" is not a tiny ledge hanging off your window. I venture to guess many would have booked that and assumed it was a high cocktail table of the sort. I put in my reservation we were planning a business meal implying conversation amongst 3. They put us in a corner on this ledge with tables pushed so close to us that it would force us to stare out the window and not converse naturally. They gave me such an attitude when I pointed out the inconvenience. You're a tapa sharing place how is this set up appropriate. I was then reminded briskly by their staff that I needed to keep my chair tucked in and face forward. I really cant say I enjoyed the food because I was very uncomfortable to focus on it, but it was OK for the most part. The risotto was the only dish I remember us not enjoying and left behind. (Meatballs, Calamari, Dates, and wine were the other items for no complaints). Overall, I am disappointed by business that take their customers for granted so I won't be back.

The only issue was getting the food quicker. Typically not a problem but this time it was. I shouldnt have to wait 1 hour after first serving to get rest of the food. Other than that, great.

Figo Wine Bar NEVER disappoints- will continue coming back here and recommending to family and friends from the city, and visiting.

Nice place for drinks and small plates. My wife and I went on a Thursday night at 6:00 PM and there were a lot of empty tables so we had great service. We got wine, cocktails and 2 plates each. Was just the right amount. Has a bar area with lots of seating, high top seats by the window, and tables in the main area. Can get meat, vegetarian, fish - or even octopus!

Bartender, Host, and the entire staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful with our bags as we came straight from the airport to Figo.

Rolled into Figo Wine Bar and spent around $55. Went with a bottle of that Sonoma Chardonnay, sampled the tortellini pasta, and a meat & cheese board. The pasta was creamy and fresh, and the board paired perfectly with the wine. Cozy vibe, super helpful staff, and definitely upscale-but‑not‑stuffy. Ideal spot for a chill date or catch‑up. Will be back for sure.

A cozy wood-accented Italian wine bar in Lakeview. The small plates were mostly enjoyable though with a few misses. The octopus was a standout with a tender texture and great char, while the roasted beets and pear salad were fresh and well-balanced. The shrimp and clams were overly salty, and the tortellini felt overcooked and heavy. Overall, a comforting neighborhood spot for a relaxed dinner, though a bit uneven in execution.

I came with a beast of a stroller and a cranky 1 year old. The two servers could not have been kinder and more helpful, even carrying the stroller up to a landing to store it. The much needed glass of wine I had was deliciously cold and crisp and all the food items were tasty and interesting. Love having this place in my neighborhood!
