As always, Fioretta was outstanding! One of my favorite restaurants! Food, ambiance and service was incredible! Special shoutout to Shelby, our server, who is simply the best!
I'm really disappointed writing this because I've dined here before and had excellent food and service. Unfortunately, this past Saturday was a completely different experience. It was my birthday, and my husband and I had a 5:45 PM reservation. Our server, Alexis, seemed visibly annoyed and very standoffish from the moment we sat down. Every question or request felt like an inconvenience, and the service throughout the meal was the bare minimum at best. My chicken parmesan was severely overcooked, which was disappointing on its own, but what really stood out was the lack of attentiveness. After we finished dessert, Alexis simply dropped the bill on the table without asking how our food was, whether we needed anything else, or if we'd like another drink. I had planned on ordering an espresso martini, but the abrupt way the check was placed down made it clear that our table was no longer a priority. Although it was noted that we were celebrating a birthday, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever not even a simple “happy birthday.” I wasn't expecting anything elaborate, but at a restaurant of this caliber, a small gesture or even basic recognition would have gone a long way. We were only there for about an hour, so it's not as though we overstayed our welcome. As someone who dines out frequently and has worked in the restaurant industry myself, I understand how busy shifts can be — but basic hospitality and professionalism should still be a given. If we decide to return, we would likely choose to sit at the bar instead. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. Sadly, what was meant to be a special birthday dinner ended up feeling rushed and unwelcoming.
First time dining at the restaurant. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. Upon we decided to sit in the bar. Star was our bartender/server. He was friendly, answered all our questions, recommendations were on par. Food & drinks were delish!
Way to pricey for the not so special food Had an early reservation & the put is in the corner by the bar area instead of the main dining room although they had plenty of availablility Restaurant week meal was a rip of. Main course did not include any sides?!? Mashed potatoes tasted like from a box. On top of that $20 for a glass of wine, a cocktail with hardly any alcohol in it & mediocre service. No thx!
Danielle the server was amazing. She was attentive and curated a cocktail that was absolutely delightful. The food was pretty awesome although I did not enjoy the octopus (too salty). I would return.
Food was good and service was excellent but the restaurant itself was way too loud and the crowd was strange....kids standing around taking pictures that aren't even dining there, just a strange vibe for the money.

Came as a treat while my mom came to visit and it was so loud especially since the tables are like 6 inches apart. The carbonara wasn't very flavorful and my filet mignon was overcooked to the preference I specified. But the worst was sitting next to a large group of middle aged men who were swearing and being so loud and boisterous it almost ruined the whole vibe. Our server was good but felt like we were treated as well as the bigger groups. Not sure I'll go again.
We had dinner at Fioretta last night, and it was overall a wonderful experience. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by beautiful Christmas decorations and a cozy holiday ambiance. The restaurant was packed, so the wait time was a little longer than expected, but the staff did an excellent job making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Their service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The food was fantastic, especially the steak. We ordered the New York strip, and it was cooked perfectly.
Thanksgiving dinner was so delicious, and we shared some other dishes. The simple lemon cake and a little bit of vanilla ice cream were so good that I didn’t really care for desserts. Our family had a wonderful experience with delicious food!
We visited Fioretta for a birthday celebration and were excited to enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, the evening started off poorly the hostess at the door set the tone. Despite booking a month in advance, messaging, and calling to secure a specific booth and being assured it would be available for us, it wasn't. Throughout our visit, there were always booths available, and it didn't appear that there were fully booked reservations for all of the middle booths. The oysters and drinks were excellent, and the server was very friendly, which helped salvage some of the evening. The filet mignon was tougher than expected, and the pasta was overcooked. It was kind of the server to bring us a birthday dessert with sparklers Overall, it was a decent experience, but the poor start with the hostess and the booth mix-up, combined with some issues with the food, made it less than ideal for a birthday celebration.

We had a perfect Thanksgiving dinner here! Our server (unfortunately I can't recall her name) was exceptional. It truly felt like our home away from home. The service, ambience and food were all terrific.
Went for our anniversary and sat in the velvet room which was quieter though I was hoping to sit in the main dining room as it was more beautiful! Our server was wonderful - she was very attentive! The only thing I didn't appreciate was that she knew it was our anniversary and that they were bringing a dessert on the house and asked us if we wanted to order dessert, which we did, without knowing a dessert was already coming on the house. We were already filled and just wanted to share one dessert but instead got two large pieces of cake. The bar was hopping and they had an outstanding jazz trio with singer- they were all so talented! I would definitely recommend going if you're ok with the high price tag - $360 plus for 2 (+-).
Six of us celebrated my son's birthday. The curved booth allowed for great conversation but plenty of room. Wait staff was very attentive. Great pacing of drinks, appetizers and main course. We never felt rushed. Food was excellent, of note my two sons shared the 44oz Bistecca alla Fiorentina which had an amazing presentation and definitely plenty. Pasta dishes were huge, fresh seafood and delicious. Great acoustics. Music was upbeat but not loud so conversation is easy even though restaurant was packed. Dessert of Olive Oil Cake and Tiramisu delicious and plenty to share around the table. A totally great place for a special celebration!
I would not return. Food was expensive and nothing spectacular. Service was lackluster. We booked a high top for 8:15 pm, got the table near a wall that was pushed too close. I'm 18 weeks pregnant and barely have a bump and could hardly get into my seat, they just kept trying to push the table away. Didn't apologize, didn't offer any other options. Handed out menus, and a glass shattered. No apologies, just cleaned it in silence. Luckily I checked that we were celebrating a birthday when I booked so we did get a tiramisu with a sparkler, but that was the only fun part. I've definitely had more delicious food all over Chicago. Wouldn't return if it was free.
The service was phenomenal. The live music was outstanding. We were in a more private area which was nice for a birthday dinner.
