I’ve been coming here for YEARS and the food is usually 10/10, but lately?? Smh. I ordered my usual bacon cheeseburger (yes, I’m pregnant and craving it), got home and there was NO bacon. The cashier didn’t even give me a receipt. When I called, she asked for it — thankfully I paid with Cash App so I could read her the total. Then she comes back saying the cook “didn’t read that it had bacon.” Instead of replacing THEIR mistake, they offered me a $2 credit.
When I went back to use the credit, the other employee acted like I was trying to scam them over $2, didn’t even want to check the receipt that was literally behind the counter with my name on it. Then I get home and they gave me the wrong cheesecake. Again. No receipt.
How do you mess up a pregnant woman’s order twice? Do better. And please check your food before leaving. Plenty of other Firehouse Grills in Chicago. I don’t even leave reviews but this pissed me off.

The food is good but when it comes to ordering for delivery expect over an hour and a half wait. I don't know why it takes them so long to deliver a burger but it's outrageous. This problem has actually been the reason why sometimes I rather just order pizza and not Firehouse.
4/30/25 update. I changed my review to 5 stars because the home made burgers are simply just too good to give it anything other than that. Plus they always provide you with service with a smile on.

Ordered a buffalo chicken salad and chicken servings were a decent amount. The cashier in the front was friendly . She saw me confused as I entered the resteraunt since I wasn’t aware they combined hooks and firehouse grill together and she approach me to clarify that I’m at the right spot. I asked for a cup of water and the lady was kind enough to offer me a water bottle. Overall good experience and atmosphere.
