Great place to eat some fine tasting bbq, watch some sports, or take in a live concert on intimate stage with superb sound system. Friendly welcoming staff and engaging patrons. I go there alone sometimes to belly up or with my son, who begs me to take him here (he's 11). Go there!
I’ve been looking for a holiday bar or Christmas themed bar in my neighborhood for a while and Firewater has it! Firewater is a Christmas bar! I don’t know when this started happening but it’s grinch theme adorable and the best part is, it’s local! They have special drinks regarding grinchand it’s just all of the fun of a holiday bar that’s decorated with Christmas decorations and none of the hassle of driving to Wrigleyville.
Had a work lunch at Firewater and 2 of the three meals were great! BBQ Chicken Salad was delicious, I had the corn bread as a side and so yummy. My colleague had garlic bread as his side, and again tasty! Our 3rd colleague ordered Cake Batter Pancakes - they smelled delicious and looked great! As she was eating the pancakes the taste/scent of onions became apparent. Either when the pancakes were cooked or the plate they were served on had onion residue. Disappointing! We'll...
