I get the pre made family meals from this place. They blow any other meal service out of the water on quality of ingredients and taste. More expensive than HelloFresh and those other companies but 1000x tastier and you’re supporting small business!

The pie and coffee are great, but it's the team that really makes this place awesome. Michaelangelo is a star!

The slices of apple, cherry and strawberry- rhubarb and key lime pie are very generous and delicious. We also tried the meat lasagna and it was incredible, and very filling. It was worth the drive early evening for dinner and after dinner dessert with some tea! I highly recommend this place (just park a few blocks away and walk because non paid parking was a difficult).

This place is intimate and cozy with a small menu but everything on it looks amazing. I love how there are so many items to take to go. I've been here once but I'm excited to come back again soon!!

Really cute place in my neck of the woods. Tried the buffalo chicken wrap and it was very flavorful and super delicious! Looking forward to returning and trying some of their coffee and other items from the menu!

Nice little spot, great for lunch. Sandwiches are good and the baked goods are amazing. The blueberry cheesecake was delicious 😋

I have long loved this place for the pies, lunch options, and dinner packages. This week they catered a party and it could not have been better. My favorites were the gluten-free empanadas, tamales, and stuffed mushrooms. Everything was ready and hot exactly on time, the guests loved it all, and ordering was a breeze.

I LOVE this place so much, it’s truly a neighborhood gem. My favorite was the tuna melt, which I was told may never come back again :( PLEASE BRING IT BACK. Other than that, their blueberry cheesecake pie is an all time fave.

Delicious! Moved away from Chicago a little over 5 years ago and was back visiting for the weekend. So happy to see this delicious spot still open. This voracious carnivore had a vegetarian sandwich and a slice of pie as an appetizer (life is uncertain, eat dessert first) and it was all amazing.

I'm a huge fan of First Slice Manor, just a few streets from home, the sandwiches are always on point, and I've never had a bad experience... until today. I was really starving, ready to chow down, but was told they weren't accepting cash. I was pretty frustrated, since that meant I had to leave without getting anything, forcing me to go somewhere else. Hopefully they'll have a better system in place next time.

I like the unpretentiousness of First Slice though some would be warranted based on the quality of the food and service. On my first visit, I ordered the Cuban sandwich, mocha, and a French silk small pie (to take home; it was eaten within days). I enjoyed it all. There's not a ton of seating space, but we all made do and shared it well knowing we had found a unique restaurant. The only knock is the front door didn't close all the way on a cold day.

Food has always been incredible. The Latin Hip Hop salad is a neighborhood favorite of mine, and every pie has been outstanding, with a special nod to the chocolate pecan, French silk, and chocolate peanut butter.
As for the service - the staff went above and beyond for my Thanksgiving pie this year. A mix-up caused my pie to be ready at the Andersonville location, not Manor, the day before the holiday. After a night and morning spent at the emergency vet and with bronchitis myself, that extra distance felt insurmountable. The woman I spoke with on the phone (Jennifer? I regret that the stress of the day affected my memory) tracked down my order, then promised to bring it from Andersonville to the Manor for me, since she had to make a trip over there that afternoon. It had been such an awful day, and that little bit of kindness was much appreciated. (Plus the pie was phenomenal - warming up the chocolate pecan makes it even more dreamy.)
