Five Guys in Chicago

“Five Guys is always consistently good, but I'm writing this review to show love to the cashier who served me on 8/18 around 2 PM I believe. She was very kind, warm, and patient. She expertly handled a foreign family ahead of me that was having a difficult time with the menu.“

“This might've been a one time thing but my burger came out pretty dry. They really cooked that patty. The toppings were portioned well, I was just surprised that the jalapenos are raw not pickled. The milkshake that I ordered took almost 15 minutes after I got my burger to make. The milkshake itself was good, it was pretty thick and the straws are regular soda pop straws. Really expensive for the quality this time.“

“This restaurant is very clean. They do have a lot of spots to sit. They offer peanuts in the shell while you wait for your food to be done. I ordered bacon and paid for it. But when I got home there was no bacon on my burger. That has never happened before. The fries and our burgers were delicious! At 5 Guys they only sell burgers and hotdogs. They do have tasty milkshakes. They also have Coke products. The staff is friendly and quick.“

“Food is delicious as always the cashier that took our order had no life and her. She literally looked like a zombie. Smiles and greeting customers is always a good thing. We did not get that. Maybe she was upset because she was the only one behind the counter, which I really don’t blame her.,“

“For 300 Mexican pesos (12.99 USD) you eat at this place. Unlike other fast food restaurants, the kitchen is visible to everyone. When you order you must select the condiments (catsup, mustard, onions, etc.).

The food is pretty decent for the price you pay.“

“There was a small delay with my order, but the team noticed it right away, apologized kindly, and took great care of me. They were super friendly, helpful, and clearly care about what they do. I left really happy thanks to their positive attitude and great service. Big thanks to the crew!“
