From the moment you walk in, the aroma of the grill instantly transports you to a traditional Argentinian kitchen. The El Che and the Pechuga were absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Easily one of the best Argentinian dining experiences in the city.

Food incredibly underwhelming. Meat is overcooked, bland, and not particularly tender. Won't be back here.

Idk what to say other than the food was just kinda gross.
I cant recall any other time that i have eaten only a few bites of my meal. Even when i go to a place hungry and the food is bad i’ll atleast eat until im sated but i left here still hungry.

Why my chair busted out like that man i spent $200+ here.

We had the “el che” and the “tallarino de mar” the steak was a mushy mess and the chimichurri was burnt onto the steak. The pasta had the chewiest scallops and the most over cooked salmon possible (4 oz). It was $48, unbelievable.

Its not even a matter of value, as in being over priced, it was just not good. i wont be back.

Only thing holding it back from being a 1 star are the empanadas which were actually fantastic

On 1/23/2026 Folklore posted that “cold nights are calling for your favorite comfort foods at Folklore” in the early afternoon. We planned a night around this reservation and proceeded to go there in -2 degree weather. The lights were on but the door was locked. One person came to the door and just kept telling us that he could not hear us without ever coming to speak to us and then waved us off. Nobody ever acknowledged this through OpenTable or on their social media.

Great date night restaurant. From the ambience, service and food everything was exceptional. Jose was our server and provided some of the best hospitality we've had in awhile. We did the paradilla meat and veggie, tried some of their inhouse special cocktails and the dessert. The flan was out of this world.

I’ve seen this restaurant so many times, but was finally able to dine there and it was outstanding! The vibe was perfect for a Saturday evening - love that the lights were dim and each table had candles. There was a good crowd, but it never felt too loud or crowded, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered El Che, which was fantastic. We had the flan for dessert, and I was anticipating having a bite or two but our table of two enjoyed the entire thing. It was delicious! Folklore would make for a great date night or spot to celebrate a birthday, promotion, etc. I can’t wait to visit again

This restaurant is fantastic. The ambience, food, and service were all perfect. The portions are huge; consider doing a side with one entree for two. Or take delicious leftovers home. You will not be disappointed. I dreamt about the flan the next day.

Amazing waitstaff..cocktails on point...food was good $550 for a party of 6 not bad!!! I'm not giving it 5 stars only because the meat was still mooing! Gratuity was added!

Delicious authentic parilla experience. Just like a night out in Buenos Aires. Argentine beef is a special treat prepared by a masterful asador. Some of the best chimichurri north of the equator. Put it on everything!
