Made my order wrong, but would not replace it without bringing the subs back and picking up the correct sandwiches when I had them delivered. They were apologetic but here I am with no lunch and no refund.

I never knew hinge cut sandwiches and wrapping then cutting a sandwich was a thing until I moved to Chicago, where it really isn't. I didn't know how big a deal it was for me until I went to Fontano's.

Classic Chicago. What else could you ask for. Everything is fresh and delicious.
I had a taste for an Italian beef and sausage sandwich, so I drove over since I was passing by. The beef was fresh, tender, and juicy, and the sausage was just right. Oh. And they come in a couple of sizes. They have sandwich specials, maybe soup, so look for those when you come. You can do just a sandwich or make it a meal by adding chips and a soda. This place has no special decor but the people are nice.

I was surprised to find they were still open, and had the opportunity to grab a Block Buster before the year ended. They have gotten a lil pricey but I did enjoy it after not having it for so many years.

I came here today for the first time since I retired. I ordered the 8" Blockbuster. With a fountain drink and chips it cost me $16.00 Now I normally get my subs on Taylor Street. I get an 8" Italian with chips and a can of coke and it costs me a shade under $10.00 What would you do?
