Went for the happy hour so my partner and I could each try their FR Flight. It was super good I loved nearly all the beers in the flight as did my partner. We were interested in seeing their brewery in the back and they allowed us to look up close. Service was great ambience was chill as we went around 4:30 on a Wednesday. The short ribs are SO yummy. Recommend those as well as the chorizo small plate. Excellent job.
If you’re into trying unique beers, Forbidden Root is a must. The house-made brews are unlike anything I’ve had before—really botanical and full of flavor. I grabbed a rosemary citrus IPA that was wild, in a good way, and paired it with their duck confit tacos. Totally worth the $30 I spent. The vibe here is super cool too—industrial-chic with a cozy feel, perfect for a night out or a casual hang with friends. The staff knows their stuff and made great recommendations....
Server was at the bar drinking and on his phone, I had to go up and ask for another drink. Really cool atmosphere. Beer cheese was not as I expected, it was more of a brie texture. I wouldn’t advertise it as beer cheese. The idea of the spicy chicken sandwich sounded good but it was not spicy or good. Overall the food was meh, the drinks were good though. I probably wouldn’t go back unless it was just for a drink.
