We had an amazing time at the foundation room. Had our own little private area. The food was amazing and the staff was great.

Absolutely amazing experience! Drink prices are unbeatable, ambiance is phenomenally unique, and the music was AMAZING! The Foundation room upstairs is a great regal feeling area to have drinks and hang with friends (but no live music up there). And be careful, I signed up for the live music but Open Table set the reservation for the foundation room (which apparently happens according to one of the workers). But they were really nice and helpful! 1000/10 recommend! My friend who visited said she had a blast.

Foundation Room Chicago is a whole vibe—dark, moody, and just the right amount of upscale without feeling stuffy. Came here for a night out and got a couple of craft cocktails (about $18 each—pricey but strong and well-made). The truffle fries and sliders were solid, great for snacking while vibing to the DJ. The service was on point—attentive without hovering. The decor is rich and gives off that exclusive lounge feel, perfect for a classy night with friends. Definitely worth checking out if you want a more elevated nightlife experience in the city!

We had a great time at the Foundation Room. The decor and atmosphere was very nice. Employees were kind and always checking if you need anything. We didn’t get any food but the drinks were great. We tried the old fashion, margarita and botanical spritzer.

I had an incredible dining experience at the Foundation Room at House of Blues Chicago! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with rich décor and a luxurious yet cozy vibe. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The cocktails were expertly crafted, making for the perfect pairing with the meal. It’s the kind of place where you can truly sit back, relax, and enjoy a special evening. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner, a great spot before a show, or just a unique dining experience in Chicago, I highly recommend the Foundation Room. I’ll definitely be back!

I went to the Poppy show last night and was shocked by how many people were crammed into the space. It was actually dangerous. For the cost of entry, this was outrageous. Poppy's sound quality was fantastic, I will note that, she was great. I'll never return to this venue, there should have been half the number of people in there - someone will end up getting crushed eventually - Poppy had to get the crowd to move back several times as those in the front were literally in danger.

Horrible experience. I went there for a concert. It was my first time. I chose that instead of the meet and greet. So when I arrived I was directed to this place. I asked what was it about and explained to me that it was a lounge to relax and have dinner. But I wanted to upgrade to the meet and greet. No one could help me. So I agreed to go to this place. When I was there I went to the toilet and then I said I wanted to go to the stage level so I could pick an nice view. There was this told old guy scolding another customer who also wanted to leave. And were told in a very rude manner to go back inside that room. Like we were hostages of some kind. Finally I said I wanted to go downstairs to buy another vip ticket that was the only way I could go down. He said well you have to go downstairs but i didn't know how to go back to the elevator so he took me there and told the elevator guy to take me to that floor. He couldn't answer any of my questions. I wasn't able to buy the meet and greet, I was treated very badly by this guy and almost ruined my night. I am glad when I saw my band I completely forgot. The hostess in that Foundation room was friendly and kind of tried to help me. But that old guy... rude. I will try not to go back to the House of Blues unless it is absolutely necessary. Go back to the room, you cannot be here GO BACK. Really. Horrible.
