I've been eating Fox's Pizza for many, many, years. Unfortunately I have to go to the Orland Park location in order to get a consistently crisp crust, which is what gets me going back time amd time again. We asked for extra crispy and the dough in the middle of the pizza was barley cooked through. I love their cheese (quality) , their sausage (fennel) , and their mushrooms (very tasty). I’ve had this pizza multiple times and when it’s good, it’s really good! I love the cornmeal crust. The only issue I have is that it’s very inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza sauce doesn’t taste like it has salt in it. I took a friend last time because I raved about this place and the pizza was not good so that was disappointing.
I ordered a sausage pizza from Fox’s on Western (Fox’s Beverly Restaurant & Pizza) for delivery, and it was a solid 5-star experience! The pizza arrived hot and fresh in about 30 minutes, much faster than the estimated time. The thin crust was perfectly crispy, and the sausage was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, complemented by a tasty, well-balanced sauce and generous cheese. The delivery driver was friendly and polite, making the experience even better....
