Have dined here several times, it's always a good experience. Fresh pastas are the highlight but other entrees and salads are also very tasty. Service is always on point, good pace, helpful suggestions.
My husband had Rigatoni with Sausage and he really liked it. I had Lasagna and liked it however it was only warm, not hot and was highly salty. It was not the best Lasagna I've ever had, I'd say it was only good. The ambiance of Francesca's is very nice and the service was good.
A Chccago staple for us as far as Italian goes. Very flavorful and fresh. Appi's exceplent, fresh crispy salads, and the mains from seafood to poultry to pastas and the sides were fantastic. If I had to nitpick I'd say the bread could be better, oven fresh would really be outstanding. Service excellent, friendly and prompt even for our party size of 13. We were downstairs in the wine cellar which had a great ambiance albeit a little bit loud.
