We ate here yesterday before a concert. We had the crab Rangoon, chicken fried rice, Godzilla roll, sweet potato maki, and a salmon roll. Everything was amazing!! I will be back!

Fresh Sushi Chicago is unbelievable. This is the kind of local business that makes our city great. The service is dynamite, the atmosphere is cute and charming. Me and my friends took advantage of the BYOB. They lending us nice glassware for our drinks, sake and wine.
The fish quality is for real. The presentations are beautiful and artistic.
And they are entirely friendly to gluten free persons like me. Every other place I’ve been to has a seriously limited menu of options for GF ppl. Fresh Sushi Chicago modified any roll that I wanted.
I love having this place in the neighborhood! Great crab ragoons with house made sauce. The sushi and noodle dish was also great. They have a little patio area with picnic tables, which were great and easy on a cool fall night!

I tried out two dishes; the karrage chicken, and the other I can't recall the name of. I believe the order was under twenty dollars and the karrage chicken was especially tasty.
This place made my night; before I came here I was at a dumpy bar with no food. I liked the chill environment. On the TV they were just playing some POV walking video, plus it wasn't too busy or loud. The server was quick and attentive.
Not worth it. You'll get half for what you pay for. Go to Lawrence fish market instead.

Fresh Sushi Chicago absolutely blew me away! The sushi was incredible fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The customer service was top-notch; everyone was so welcoming and attentive. You have to try the crab rangoon it was so unique and unlike anything I’ve had before. This place is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back!

Great spot! Casual, very affordable, tasty. The fish is beautifully prepared and decorated. My partner and I have been here several times. They play 80s and 90s music that kind of cracks me up, some of which I haven't heard since back then—AC/DC, Mariah Carey... The owner is really friendly. You will get a discount if you order between 4-6pm, which is usually a quieter time anyway. A nice place to meet friends or go on a casual date.
The food was fresh and delicious! I was surprised at how large some of the serving sizes were, if I'm being honest.
The wait staff was attentive and the food didn't take long to come out once ordered.
