Fun and chill bar! Very reasonably priced drinks and they often have a few $5 beers for the month. No food but they do have popcorn. The bartenders are not friendly but it’s not the end of the world.

Food not available so did not rate - but you can bring outside food into the bar which is awesome. I go with friends every Wednesday for trivia. Tough competition and great drink prices, especially the beer of the month for $5.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there is no step into the bar and enough room to get around.

Stopped in for a drink after a friend’s birthday dinner. The vibe was very dive bar (which I don’t mind and actually enjoy). However, the bartender was rude and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder about something. I ordered a Tito’s and soda. He poured about 0.25oz of Tito’s and filled the rest of the 8oz glass with soda water. I was charged $10 for this. There are better bars in the neighborhood. Don’t waste your time here.

Very fun place to grab drinks. They are strong! Snagged a table and ended up spending the whole night here

Perfect spot to meet a couple friends and have a good time. Service was excellent and atmosphere matched. Will definitely walk down for an after work drink or 3 again

Does not serve food. It has a very cheery staff and this neighborhood bar is fun to hang out in.

Friar Tucks is a fun place to drink, but the lazy bartenders (known as “B”) lie and refuse to do advertised services based on how they’re feeling. Would not do birthday sheep tradition for my friend in 2023 because of COVID-19 despite their disregard for COVID regulations in 2020. Lied and said they won’t even have the whole bar sing because it’s Saturday.

The service is absolutely garbage. The older woman bartending is HORRENDOUS. I've been here twice and both times I've come she has been so insanely rude. She is cranky, mad, rude, and very obviously hates her job. Maybe she should look into a job not working with people? If you go, you'll know EXACTLY who I am talking about. There is a mural on the wall of her.

Fun dive bar in the Lakeview area. Free popcorn is a plus but be warned: let the staff pop another batch if they’ve run out. We made the mistake of throwing some fresh kernels in the popcorn machine since they were empty and the bouncer let us know that was a no-no. Other than that misunderstanding, it’s a good bar with good vibes.
