The service and understanding of our party size were excellent. Food was good, but we didn't realize it was BYOB. We had been looking forward to some drinks or mimosas. Overall, the breakfast was really enjoyable, and the atmosphere was fun.
We love dining at Frida Room. The food is always delicious, and the coffee is great. It's such a cute place- love the Fridah Khalo artwork everywhere.
Frida's is the best! Wonderful, delicious food every time and there are options for everyone!
Very cute restaurant for breakfast. I had the a la mexicana for breakfast, it had very minimum steak and was served with a splash of beans. For $20 I was expecting more. I ordered a side of breakfast potatoes that was $10 and for 2 small cups of coffee was $5 each. Thank you for the experience.

We came here for family brunch on Christmas Day since it was one of the few places open and taking reservations. The restaurant had a cozy, Mexican-inspired vibe. The food was decent, though not something I’d personally go out of my way to return for. However, everyone in my family enjoyed their meals and finished everything. Overall, a nice one-time brunch experience, especially for a holiday.

The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I was with a group of friends that I worried wouldn't like the food, but everyone ate everything on their plates. I was so happy. Great food!!! Very flavorful and the cafe de holla es lo mejor!
I liked the service provided by Maria T. She was attentive & informative when asked questions. No complaint with the service provided. The only issue I had at this location is they do not serve (no sirven arroz) any kind of rice or sausage (chorizo). You must ask for chips they are not complimentary. I ordered the chilaquiles verde with steak instead of beans & my eggs over easy.. they very good my friend ordered the carner en su jugo & that was also very good. Also they let us taste a complimentary consome de rez that was delicious 😋. They don't necessarily have a dessert menu just sweet breakfast option like French toast & pancakes things like that. Other than the aforementioned the vibe is good I recommend.

Amazing restaurant in Pilsen. Everyone was welcoming and the food was the best Mexican food I have ever had. The Cafe de olla was like tasting heaven. Will never be able to top that coffee. Chilaquilles were a work of art. Just heavenly!!!

Cafe de la olla was very good. A bit on the sweet side but tasty. I ordered enchiladas Verdes w chicken ($22) They are more like soft, cheese quesadillas sitting on salsa verde and chicken pieces on the side. Very non traditional. I was thinking they would be rolled in shredded chicken in salsa verde. Overall they were ok but I wouldnt order that again. My husband ordered the chillaquiles. They were more like tortilla chips from a bag with sauce poured over them. Ive never had them like this before. Normally, they are soft w sauce on them. I will be back but definitely going to try something else. Service was good. We got there early which is recommended.

Absolutely loved Frida Room! Cozy vibe, amazing service, and the food was bursting with flavor. Easily one of the best brunch spots in Chicago. HEADS UP... BYOB. Only downside .
Very good food, very flavorful. Azteca coffee and Cafe de Olla were very good. The regular coffee tasted a little burnt. But overall very good.
