Can’t tell if I got dinner or a sampler platter for ants. Squid: three bitelets on a skewer (think plastic caps). Tong ho: handful of greens in a small box, $9+. Clam: one, the size of a dollar coin, $8+. If burning money is your hobby, you’ll have a blast here.

This is a mom and pop restaurant with authentic cuisine. Loved fast the food came out and the imported drinks. Server was an old man who was very nice to us

Beef and fat skewers was about .99 cents worth of meat, half of which was inedible, also tasteless.
Chicken gizzard skewers were rubbery and overcooked, clearly frozen in the past, they were not edible. Like rubbery to the point you couldn’t chew them, imagine eating a pencil eraser.
The cold potatoes tasted like pure garlic.
The fried rice was plain and nasty with no veggies, no peas and barely any visible eggs.
The corn cobs were okay. We threw away 80% of the food, yes it was that bad.
Don’t waste your money. They need to re do the whole menu and start from scratch. I can’t believe I paid $40 for about $10 worth of nasty food. Bad food is one thing. Bad food and tiny quantities is an insult. Start over, this ain’t it. Can I get a refund?

I called to order food, a Chinese guy answered the phone. He was very impatient and had a bad attitude. This restaurant is a waste of one star. I strongly recommend not to consume in this restaurant.
Food poisoning 2/2 times. My girlfriend and her friend went and got food poisoning, and I ignored that experience and some of my friends got food poisoning the 2nd time. Their food safety must be utterly atrocious
It smacks of racism.
I had high hopes for this place, but it turned out to be one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I’ve had. The food was below average in both taste and quality. We tried several different BBQ meats on skewers, but unfortunately, they all tasted the same—overpowered by a heavy dose of cumin, which made them quite unpleasant, especially if you’re not a fan of that flavor.
What made things worse was the service, which was among the worst I’ve experienced. Apart from being handed water at the beginning, we received no additional attention. No salt or pepper, no soy or teriyaki sauce (which you’d typically expect at an Asian restaurant), and shockingly, no proper plates—just flimsy paper bowls. It felt more like a rushed takeout setup than a sit-down meal.
Overall, it was a disappointing visit and I wouldn’t recommend it.
The food was super dry and covered with spice, so I couldn't even recognize the meat taste. The service was so bad! The TV was playing inappropriate AI-generated clips!

My experience couldn't have been worse! There was bad food, no customer service, and an inappropriate atmosphere!
Spicy food!
First day in Chinatown, Chicago, and were looking for something more authentic that we could enjoy. We were ready to explore some Chinese BBQ, and thought this place smelled nice.
The smell walking in was enticing, and then it went down from there.
To be fair, and to preface this, we misordered - which could have been avoided, hence the 3 stars.
We were seated by someone who didn't seemed thrilled to be there. And promptly asked for a recommendation. The response we received was "it's barbeque". Then we were directed to the menu with a suggestion of beef.
We had 4 different dishes, and didn't really enjoy any of them. It did seem like the recipes could have been good though. All dishes had spice and flavour but fell short on expectations. It also appeared there was a good amount of fat vs. meat.
No issue with checkout. It was fairly standard intake and outflow.
I strongly recommend that they be more prepared to provide recommendations. A great aspect would be to have a taster plate for a few people that provided a variety of options the proprietor would recommend.

Only the crispy chicken bones are delicious! I ordered another one!
The other sauces were weird (the sauce for fish tofu and chicken skin didn't taste good at first bite). Mutton skewers or beef skewers, one is delicious and the other is not. Bacon and enoki mushrooms, the bacon was delicious, but a few bunches of enoki mushrooms lacked flavor/were not too cooked.
The grilled cold noodles are average, but I'm too hungry, and the egg and ham sausage is indeed delicious, but it's not as good as the one at the school gate.
Grilled eggplant, eggplant won’t taste bad! I’ve finished eating it anyway!
The garlic crayfish has no taste. I feel that the crayfish needs to be spicy.
Qingkou, are you okay? No special impression.
