Friends Sushi is such a gem! We stumbled upon it while shopping and I’m so glad we did! It’s super cozy and vibey inside, perfect for a relaxed date night! The sushi was super fresh and flavorful, everything we ordered hit.
Service was amazing too! From the moment we walked in everyone was really friendly and attentive.

It's a 10/5. Exceeded any expectations that one could have. It's a great place for a small bit and drink. Or you can really indulge as I did. Foodies should try this place. Scallops were good, tuna tartare was amazing. Both portions were a bit larger than expected which adds to the value, you can share, i didn't. The sushi was fresh. The fatty salmon was my favorite, really liked the escolar. They sear the albacore which I loved. The fried cauliflower was great, especially dipped in wasabi mayo. My mom ordered the notorious V.E.G roll. It's the best vegetable combo ever, I would eat this every lunch break if I could. I enjoyed the drinks as well. The service was impeccable. A young man and young lady hosting, taking orders and serving. The Dynamic duo. The sushi chef up front in view. He made me a tempura asparagus roll that wasnt on the menu. I greatly appreciate that. They also worked around a food allergy I have. It was incredibly inviting and relaxed. Everything flowed so well. The Dynamic duo are very attentive and generous. They make sure everyone is comfortable. This was the most memorable experience this trip. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Chicago.
