Frontier offers an interesting menu with delicious dishes, including the roasted carrot salad, duck Smashburger, patty melt, and mushroom hoagie. They serve wild boar sliders, crab cakes, and gator bites that are all delicious. The friendly staff provide prompt service and great hospitality, although service can be hit-or-miss with some servers being excellent and others lacking enthusiasm. The fried chicken sandwich and kale salad with raisins and cranberries are standouts, along with the XL pig roast that comes with three unique BBQ sauces, including a honey mustard-based one. The sides are massive, especially the dense and cheesy Mac n cheese. For brunch, the French toast and lamb bacon are tasty but can be overly greasy. The scrambled eggs are solid but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant is also known for its unique drinks and fun events. While it can get crowded, especially during big games, Frontier remains a great spot for a memorable dining experience, whether trying exotic meats like Emu, Gator, and Wild Boar or enjoying their own Merlot shot.
