Super quiet mostly working adults on their laptops, my breakfast was great, the drinks were pretty good, tables were limited when we went but apparently they were doing improvements on the overflow seating area ??‍♂️

I ordered a coffee and wasn’t asked what size I wanted? Who does that? The issue I had was the staff were not friendly. It would make a customer feel more relaxed and happy if the staff were more approachable. Overrated. I would give the atmosphere a 5 star as it was really cozy and chill for studying or having some time with friends.

The seating inside was awful and not enough for the people who were there. I got a latte that had almost no flavor. The banana muffin was good

Nice place to stop by to work, study, or catch up with friends. There’s a lot of communal seating. The food portions are huge, and the dishes are tasty. The coffee is strong af so prepare yourself. Everything is super clean and I love the communal community vibe. The employees who serve the food are super friendly and helpful. I hope management treats them well. Would drop by again if I was in the area.

Always a cool place with good coffee.

This place is solid, but always ruined by the music. So loud. Not possible to study and focus. Why are we listening to dark 80s new wave eastern European depressive music at level 10 on a tuesday morning? We're here trying to work and want to give you business, but it makes it impossible to work. Even putting in headphones doesn't help because the music is so loud that headphones aren't enough. Like I said, solid place otherwise.

Honestly wanted to like this place but it's super overrated. Seating is incredibly limited even though there's plenty of empty space in the cafe. People tend to stay in their seats studying/reading/working (which is fine) but it means you have to wait ~15 minutes to actually sit down anywhere. Drinks are alright but nothing amazing. Sandwich bread was burned when it first came, but they kindly replaced it after I brought it up. Interior decor is amazing though!

Finding parking near Froth was a mission. I was very impressed when we walked in, it’s very spacious, but not quite as impressive with the cleanliness. When making our drinks didn’t use gloves to get the coffee brittle and was back and forth at the register.

Industrial-chic decor. Plenty of space to stretch out and get some work done. Food was cooked to perfection. Coffee really good. Highly recommend this near Westside gem.

Excellent coffee shop with decent small bites. Only one negative: poor ventilation — quite smoky, you’ll leave smelling like back of kitchen.

This hidden gem is my absolute favorite coffee shop to work or to meet a friend at. The atmosphere...you just have to see it. Absolute perfection. And it's pup friendly. I had walked past it SO many times before I realized what it was. I love that it's buried into the residential side of the West Loop, away from other businesses. Truly a neighborhood spot. The food is fine. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I feel like someone else should speak to it. The atmosphere is sufficient to bring me there over and over again regardless. Highly recommend!

When I came in, I was not greeted. When a young white lady walked up behind me, they looked past me and spoke to her. No one told me about the accommodations, so I just ordered a latte to sit in the lobby. The place was quiet, which wouldn’t have been every if it wasn’t for the awkward exchanges with the staff. When my drink was ready , I noticed the lobby was full so I asked if I could go upstairs. They said this belongs to an apartment bldg but I can drink in the bar downstairs. I started to take my filled to the brim, hot latte through the lobby, and down some stairs into a dark hallway, and stopped. I went back upstairs and said I don’t want to drink in a bar. Could you give it to me to go? They put it in a cup, set it down didn’t say a word to me. No lid. Didn’t tell me where the lids were. Didn’t say sorry about the confusion. Nor Asked if it’s my first time there. Why would a customer not assume that the lobby belonged to them? And why would you pour a hot beverage to stay with nowhere to sit? Or at least explain if you buy this beverage to stay, you’ll have to drink at the bar. I felt like persona non grata; they barely said two words to me. I don’t know what it is, but there’s some -ism at play. Or just plain complacency. For a $6 latte. Not again!

Offering a Cortado is fairly common at most independent shops these days (and that's my jam), but not as common is a barista knowing what Cubano style is and being willing to make it. So I was happy that my server (I forgot their name) was ready and willing. When I got the concoction I was happily surprised at what was in my cup: the absolute balance (to my pallette) of sweetness and acidity, with the complex flavor of the caramelized sugar perfectly in the mix. All this topped with a luxurious foam to make their namesake proud. I'm impressed. Also I agree with what others have said about the atmosphere. Very cool.
