PB&J: Pizza Beer and Jukebox

I have been to PB&J several times and I was extremely disappointed with my experience on this occasion. I arrived for my 6:15pm reservation around 6:10pm. I waited at the hostess station for 10-15 minutes before I finally asked the bartender where was the host. The restaurant only had about 3-4 parties inside and approximately the same outside. Why am I waiting to be seated, my presence not acknowledged, and the restaurant is basically empty? Once I was seated, the waitress was un attentive and indifferent. There would be long periods of time before she checked on out table. I was overall disappointed in the entire experience.

Great happy hour specials and really fun vibe. First time here... enjoyed our time there. Will be back!

The owner Leo is a great guy that is spreading goodness in the Chicago community! The vibes at this bar are great and you should definitely consider coming here!!!!

If I could give it negative stars I would. Absolutely horrible experience. I went for the first time with a friend on 07/21/2025 around 12 AM. After sitting at the bar for 15 mins I yelled out NICELY (due to the volume of the music) “Excuse me” and was told to “Relax” with offensive hand language and eye roll, while a bartender was talking to a coworker. After that encounter and explaining to my friend that I’m confused about the attitude another bartender said (extremely hostile) “Why are you even yelling?” And I mentioned “the music is extremely loud I have to communicate with my friend” and he said “Oh.” Another bartender looked directly passed us two Black Girls who were at the bar sitting and said to a Caucasian male “What would you like a Modelo?” After this encounter I deemed this experience RACISY from ALL WHITE MALE BARTENDERS.

Best chill bar in westloop. Food is sooo good, people are even better! I go by on my walks with my dog everyday and we stop for a dog beer & cocktail whenever we get the chance!
