It's like a jungle sometimes make me wonder why I'm not eating Furious Spoon every time I'm in the jungle.

Ordered to go. Food was bland. Used to be good years back. Quality has gone down.

I ordered th Holy Cow. I like spicy food so I was fairly happy it boasted to be spicy. It could have been a little more spicy for my taste, but it was very flavorful. Excellent service!

The service was very good. Server was friendly and very attentive.
The food was the complete opposite. I ordered the shoyu ramen, and added the level up, which is an egg and garlic relish. The broth was uneventful at best, the chili cabbage had no chili just raw cabbage thrown on top. The house made chashu was underseasoned, and tasted like southern BBQ then chashu. The marinated mushrooms were as sweet as candy and rubbery to the point of being inedible. The egg was undercooked, so instead of a somewhat firm white and runny yoke, it all was just a snot consistency.
It was rather upsetting to get this less then subpar meal, and at the end pay $38 for tax and tip.

On a dreary, rainy Sunday night, the thought of a steaming bowl of ramen to lift my spirits arose, so I decided to check out Furious Spoon in Logan Square. I went with the Malibao's Most wanted and Little Piggy went to Bao Town for an appetizer, which were good but lacked meat especially the Shrimp in the Malibao. The meat were overtaken by the bao buns, but the flavors were tasty. For my main course I chose the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen. The cold air outside slowly poured in as every food delivery driver entered, and as the steady drizzle continued I took my first sip, the rich, soy tonkatsu packed broth instantly warming me from the inside out, it felt like a warm hug in a bowl, just what I wanted for such a day.

The noodles, perfectly chewy and tender, soaked up the savory broth, and each bite was like a little moment of solace. The boiled egg, with its silky yolk, added a velvety richness, while the toppings of sliced chashu pork and fresh vegetables brought a satisfying balance of flavors and textures especially the mushrooms! The whole experience was a sensory escape from the gloomy weather, offering comfort with every bite. Made even more delightful by our server/bartender Ben, who was always around, and pleasent despite being slammed from orders, and understaffed.

Finally for dessert I tried the Choco Bao Wao, served fried, Nutella filled, with powdered sugar. Absolutely delectable, and just the comforting desert to complete the meal.

Overall a very solid experience, especially for such a cold, dreary day in March.

Ordered off uber eats! I’m a broth gal so I always order extra, upon my delivery the ramen bowl was on its side which all the broth spilled out, the napkins in the bag absorbed all the spilled broth. Nothing was wrapped to ensure a secured delivery with no spillage. Why would I pay for extra broth where most if not all was spilled! Nothing going to make a broth girl happy! So upset

Chillldd, I never felt the need to do this but MY GOSH. Nah to the lazy service ( had the nerve to ask for a tip) and the undercooked “furious” ramen bowl and little piggy bao. It was only two other customers when I came in and still no assistance. $31 dollars for nothing

Just picked up a takeout order that’s virtually inedible. I ordered the mother clucker, picked it up within 15 minutes of placing the order online, and the noodles are so overcooked they’re like mush. I paid extra to add an egg and it looks like it was barely cooked, runny whites and completely liquid yolk. This is my only experience with this location and unfortunately I wish I had better things to say.

I ate here on 1/11/25. We got karaage and ramen and they were ok. I got the worst food poisoning afterwards - I was up all night and continued to have upset stomach, chills and fever the next day. I should've looked at the bad reviews beforehand as they have a few food poisoning complaints

As someone who loves to get ramen, my partner and I went here one night to try it out. While the service and ambience were wonderful, I personally found the ramen to be lacking. It wasn’t bad per se, I just wouldn’t call it very good. All I can speak to is the ramen itself, but it mostly seems like a culturally watered down and bland take on ramen.

Not a bad place to chill with friends for a drink or two, I just probably wouldn’t go in expecting amazing ramen here.
