I had an exceptional experience at Galit. From the moment we sat down, the service stood out in a way that felt both professional and genuinely warm. Our server was incredibly attentive and immediately aware of my guest’s food allergy without us having to remind anyone. Every dish that came out was presented with clear explanations, and when we had questions about specific ingredients or preparations, the staff answered them confidently and in a way that actually made sense....
We came for dinner and when we arrived, the place was busy and had a good atmosphere. The four course menu started with tehina hummus and pita (decent but not the best) followed by the 4 mezze (good accompaniment to the hummus and pita). We shared remaining dishes - the Iraqi kubbeh (this was lukewarm and didn't taste authentic), carrots (quite ordinary), the walleye (this was the standout as the fish was cooked perfectly and the flavour was great) and the pastrami (the pastrami...
We try to get to Galit whenever we visit the city and have never been disappointed. The food is top notch. Everything is yummy but my favorites include the hummus (all of them), falafel, turkey shawarma and the phyllo pie.
