We had such an amazing experience at Gallucci! Great atmosphere, amazing food and excellent service!
Restaurant was very cold especially when the door was opened. Pizza was good but cheese wasn't fully cooked on the Margherita, and there were only 2 pieces of fresh basil on it. Other pizzas were solid. Burrata salad was delicious.
We ordered the burrata focaccia. The burrata was imported and was amazing. Made me want to move to Italy the very second I put it in my mouth, living la dolce vita. The pizzas were nice, Neapolitan style, with very thin crust. I didn't like the crust - very tough and chewy - but the rest of the ingredients were nice. Overall, had a good time.
Love to sit at the bar. Watch the pizza be made. Great atmosphere. This is one of our go to date night spots
Service was good although we had four dinners and they came out at three different times. Fryer was down so couldn’t order the appetizers we wanted. Two of the pasta dishes were under cooked beyond reasonable. Very dark, can’t see the menus dark.

The food was good! Maybe a little overpriced for what it is. Our service was just okay. We ordered two pastas, a pizza, and a calzone. The pastas came out, and then we had to wait 20 or so minutes for the pizza and calzone. There was no communication from the server about it. We were going to wait to eat our pasta until our friend got their pizza, but I'm glad we didn't because it would have been cold.
Everyone's meal in our party was good. We didn't see any bread being served at any table with pasta dishes. Not sure if it's offered. The tables are very close to one another and the noise level can be pretty high.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago, located in the heart of Old Town. The pizza's are phenomenal, but their other offerings are fantastic as well. Well worth a detour!
Food and staff were amazing. World Series game was on and it went into extra innings. We stuck around to watch even though they were closed. Staff was awesome!!!

Would give it 5 stars but $8 added fee for gluten free is messed up.
Pizza was amazing, but those employees are so rude, so unprofessional... they are literally kicking people out. I never seen something like this before. Hopefully the owner will find out this and fire them all. So we can all have a fresh start.

I had read great things about their gluten-free pizza. The crust was great. The rest had not much flavor. My partner had a regular pizza and the sausage was so oily it overpowered it. They were also out of almost every single wine. We wanted, not rush rushing back.
Authentic and delicious Neapolitan pizza 👍 Two of us shared three pizzas - and it wasn’t enough 🤤 Had a quick chat with the owner and he was actually from Naples - OG as it gets.

I was late to my reservation due to Uber issues. Gallucci's accommodated me quickly on a very busy night. Service and food was phenomenal. Atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and fun.
