I’ve read some of the posts and all I can say is that my experience was excellent, and way better than any other onsite ’Hilton’ restaurant I’ve eaten at. It’s not cheep, but it’s Chicago! If you’re at the airport Hilton and want to step back in time for a speakeasy experience, have a few drinks, and a good meal, this is a great place and all you have to do is walk back to your room. We were staying at the somewhat old and drab O’Hare Hilton, and stumbled into this place for dinner. Excellent Wiener schnitzel and lemon chicken. Service excellent as well. We were very happily surprised.
We stopped here for nightcap so I can’t say anything about the food. The drinks were just okay. I had heard the service wasn’t great but the staff were friendly. The pianist was fun and the whole place is just really cool as though you’re stepping back in time. Would highly recommend at least checking it out.
