This is hands down the best matcha place in chicago by a mile, no contest. Their matcha is authentic, the baristas know their stuff, and the seasonal specials are as creative and well thought of as they are delicious!! Gathers time and time again leaves my partner and I literally laughing out loud at how good the tea is. We rarely get it because its so far out of the way for us, but every time we do we pick up some powder, which is also great. I love this place, seriously.

Great drinks but I ordered no ice and they still gave me ice and didn’t fill the drink. Then, when I told them I asked for no ice, they went in the back and dumped some ice out along with some drink and STILL left some ice with no apology or fixing it.
In addition to this, when I went up to order on the kiosk it asked for a tip which I was confused about since I’m the one doing everything.

I love this place! I usually get the strawberry matcha cream which is very sweet and not very heavy in matcha flavor. However, I tried the taro monster drink today and it was delicious. Great sweet and savory balance and very decadent.
