Talk about the most romantic dinner experience in Chicago! Low lights, live instrumental music, 3-course fondue & wonderful service. This place is truly one of a kind - you are guaranteed to leave full, satisfied, and connected with whomever you attended with!

I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long while now and my plans, hopes and dreams finally came through last night. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! Staff is absolutely wonderful and attentive. The food is exceptional. And no better way to enjoy the food and ambiance here than listening to a live guitar musician playing a flamenco in the background! I really recommend this spot!!! We had the Premier fondue experience which is a must here! The protein I ordered and highly recommend is lobster tail. Leave some room for the dessert drinks (espresso martini!) and the chocolate fondue. You can also make some s’mores!!!

One of our favorite restaurants in all of Chicago. We took friends who had never been with us and they were floored with the fondue experience. We want to thank our server Gary - he was attentive and always there throughout our meal. We were never rushed and had such a wonderful night! A hint for everyone - the house wine (Geja's wine) is delicious and so approachable!

It's always an amazing experience everytime we go. Today I got to celebrate Mothers Day early. The staff and manager were amazing and made our visit very memorable. We will be back soon!

Bothers me to no end that I can spend $600 for dinner for a family of 4 adults and they charge a 4% operational fee. Give me a break. Beyond that, the food and service were exceptional.

From the first encounter with the Vallet our experience was out of this world amazing. We were greeted with very friendly warm welcomes. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and funny. The food was phenomenal. The ambiance was lovely. We were there early so it was quiet but when we left the place was packed with a vibe of excitement.

Unfortunately they have evolved and changed their food. The first round with the cheese fondue they have added vegetables. Oh yay Raw white onion, broccoli, yellow, orange and red pepper. I'm thinking they should ask if you want them because there was very little bread and apples and mostly vegies. Plus you get vegies with the premier dinner so I don't need more. So disappointed with that. They used to serve fillet mignon as an option but no longer only beef tenderloin so my meat was chewy. The desert was okay but they used to give you a quarter of a pineapple so it was fresh and yummy. Now it's canned pineapple. The cake was dry, the rice crispy a great idea but they were not homemade and not buttery like homemade ones. The best thing on the desert was roasting the marshmallows over the fire and then dipping it in the chocolate and sprinkling the graham cracker dust over it. The rest of the fruit was good. Just missing that pound cake and fresh pineapple. AND to top it off, we get there at 4:00 with a reservation and they sat us in this very dark little corner in the back right area. We couldn't see anything it was so dark really take that table away. And the place wasn't busy so we should have asked to be moved. We had a GREAT WAITER though. He was young and funny and made it a lot of fun. IF we go back we have our notes. Note to self don't order lobster, shrimp or scallops. Very hard to cook in the oil and get it right. Over cooked it every time so very chewy and I know it's my fault, but hot oil and sea food....... Couldn't get it right. Bummer but it's a cool place. Music was great. I'm just sad they felt they had to change their menu. I wish we knew we were getting vegies we would have said hold the vegies. Just bring us bred and apples.

Geja’s was hands down one of the most romantic restaurants I’ve been to in Chicago. The ambience was truly incredible. From the live music to the low lighting and intimate booths I would highly recommend. I was so fun cooking our own meats and each fondue experience was so delicious. Our waiter was really attentive - we can’t wait to go back for our next special occasion!

First time here but not the last! My wife got the Connoisseur and I got the Prince Geja's Combination. Gary explained everything and we had a very fun and delicious evening!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Geja Cafe, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We began our evening with the Swiss Gruyere Cheese Fondue, paired beautifully with a refreshing Pear Elderflower Collins.

For our entrées, we chose the Boneless Chicken Breast and the Deluxe Seafood, both of which were delicious and expertly prepared. To end the night on a sweet note, we indulged in the Belgian Chocolate Fondue, complemented by Geja's Dirty Martini — a delightful combination that was the perfect finish to our meal.

The atmosphere at Geja Cafe was wonderfully relaxing, making it the ideal setting to unwind and mentally prepare for the week ahead. The service was fantastic; Mario was particularly attentive and patient, providing great recommendations throughout our meal.

Overall, I highly recommend Geja Cafe for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It was truly a delightful evening and I will definitely be back.
