Always a wonderful experience here, from entering and being greeted all the way until you leave. The food and experience is so wonderful and festive and the atmosphere and service are top notch.

Congested seating arrangement, however, good for a date during winters. Fondue is the highlight.

My family has been going to Gejas since the 80's. It's always wonderful. We went last night for my daughter's birthday and this was the first time it was just ok. The proteins (chicken and beef) were subpar. The cheese course and chocolate were wonderful as ever and the staff was very accommodating. Unfortunately, I think they are buying cheaper cuts of meat and poultry after our experience last night. We had 5 people and our bill was $500.00 plus.

I went to Geja's on a Saturday evening with my fiancé and his brother and sister-in-law. We have two November birthdays so this is an annual dinner for us, and as Chicagoans, we always like to try something new in the city. From start to finish, the vibes were impeccable. The ambiance is a 10/10! Every person on the staff was extremely professional and attentive. The bartender, Anton, is hilarious and makes incredible martinis. The first course, the cheese fondue, was remarkable. The portion sizes are great - We were SO stuffed when we left. A chocolate fondue is included with the dinner, and they also brought me and my sister-in-law each little cakes with candles for our birthdays, which were equally delicious! Geja's is definitely a must-try experience if you're ever in Chicago.

I've been here twice and it's always so good. My friend gets their coupon in the mail so it's always nice to use it. We did their premium fondue option and it was amazing. Definitely have to slow down and enjoy each bite. I'm impressed by the staff's diligence and consistency of the fresh meats, vegetables and dessert. It is pricey despite the discount but well worth the price.

Cute little spot, captures the old town vibe and feel. Definitely not a place to go have fun with friends. Its the kind of place you go to hold hands with someone and stare quietly at each other. Would not recommend for a fun night out also be prepared to smell like oil afterwards.
Geja's Café is hands-down one of the most romantic restaurants in the country. The moment you walk in, the dim lighting, candles, and live Spanish, classical guitar make the whole place feel warm and intimate. The service is friendly and attentive without ever feeling pushy. The staff really knows the menu and makes the whole fondue experience super easy and fun. The food is delicious—from the rich cheese fondue to the perfectly seasoned entrée options and the amazing chocolate fondue at the end. It's interactive, relaxed, and perfect for a date night. Overall, Geja's is the kind of place that turns dinner into a soulful and enriching experience. If you want a cozy, romantic night out with great food and great vibes, this is THE SPOT .
Even though it's been nine years since we've been to Geja's Cafe, it was just as wonderful as ever.
Geja's is a unique dining experience with excellent food, service and ambience. It's wonderful for a date night or for a wonderful fondue dining experience.

Still the best fondue restaurant in all the places we have traveled. Food quality is excellent. Geja’s is romantic and timeless. So so glad nothing has changed in 44 years. As long as this restaurant stays around, we will be coming back. And we live in Arizona!

The food was delicious and waiters were wonderful, this review would be 5 stars for the restaurant itself, BUT the valet (Modern Parking Services) didn’t listen to the instructions for how to run the car even after we gave them instructions five times, and then after dinner we discovered they ran out both our GAS AND BATTERY while we were inside so the car needed both a jump AND gas after leaving. And of course there was no assistance, refund, or apology. Do NOT trust the valet if you come here. I highly recommend Gejas seek alternate valet service as I will not be returning due to this issue that ruined what would have been a lovely night.
