The service and the attitude of people is so bad that we had to cancel our to go order and walk out.
We did a to go order and they just so rude to us standing in the bar area each one od them told us to stand out one told us to stand in the bar.
Long story short, we canceled the order walked out after complaining to the manager.

The heavy blonde woman at the front was rude and Dismissive but Karen our waitress was amazing! . She saw I was traveling with children and tired and the kids were indecisive heard my daughter say she was thirsty came back with waters with top for them. And gave great recommendation.

You may be drawn in because its one of the few places to sit and eat at Midway. Don't do it. Server was rude, food is ok but more overpriced than other spots in the airport, and you can only get $4.49 bottled water if you want water. Also god forbid you and another person each want your own ticket, you'll be told 'you have to ask for that before you order' and they'll put it all on one bill.

Dog Food Deluxe: A Culinary Adventure in Regret

If you’ve ever wondered what $22 buys you in the world of salads, let me enlighten you: apparently, a crime scene. The lettuce was so yellow it looked like it had been sunbathing for weeks—green leaves? Extinct. The chicken? Let’s just say it had the personality of canned mystery meat, possibly auditioning for a role in a pet food commercial. And the piĂšce de rĂ©sistance? A mountain of grocery-store croutons dumped on top like someone lost a bet.

Clues I ignored:
The place was emptier than my hopes.
The wait staff were deep in a gossip marathon, backs turned, while I stood there like an unpaid extra for five minutes. When I finally got seated, it was at the bar—because apparently, chairs in the actual dining area were just for decoration.

Moral of the story: read the reviews first. Or better yet, eat your shoe—it’s probably fresher and cheaper.

The food was pretty average. The burgers were pretty good, but nothing really special. Things were a bit expensive, but that is the same with most airport restaurants,

The bruschetta was disappointing. It came out on stale bread that did not seem to be toasted and the cherry tomatoes were left as whole tomatoes and were just placed on top of the bread.

The service was decently fast, but the waitress was the not the most welcoming.

I would recommend trying a different restaurant in the airport before trying this one.

Food was good. Service was friendly. Prices are way too high for what you get but it is in a airport. Was clean & fast.

Powdered eggs, frozen precooked sausage, stale toast, and tater tots called “breakfast potatoes.” The staff was past middle age and physically unhealthy. Seemed inconvenienced by our patronage. If I had checked the reviews first, I wouldn’t have wasted my time here.

This looked like the best choice to eat in this terminal, but the food was mediocre. They have many alcoholic drinks but if you're not up for that, not much choice. The server was very helpful and friendly. She recommended we skip their coffee in the afternoon when it had been sitting for hours.

Terminal B has Einstein's Bagels, which is tastier although no seating.

$21 dollar breakfast for bagged bad eggs, cheap frozen sausage, and tater tots on the menu as home fries.

I stopped at Gene’s Bistro in Chicago Midway Airport on my first visit through this airport, and the experience was mixed. The food was surprisingly good considering some of the other reviews—I really enjoyed the penne pasta—but it definitely wasn’t worth the high price. The service, however, was strange. Our server introduced herself, then immediately walked away without taking our drink order. She eventually returned, but rushed us through ordering and had an overall off-putting demeanor. While the food quality exceeded my expectations, I have to agree with other reviews: it’s overpriced with subpar service.

Not sure why the rating is so low. The restaurant is clean, the service was great and the food was decent.
