Always have a warm welcome when we stay here. Check-in was easy and fast. Our room was clean and gorgeous with awesome views. Michael at Amuse is always on his game and handles multiple customers with ease and professionalism. Cedric in valet is a delight, always had a smile and kind words for us each time we saw him. He went the extra step to personally get our car our last day and parked it perfectly so that we did not get wet in the rain. I am looking forward to our next visit!

For this price point the Swissotel exceeded expectations. The top floor fitness center was the best that I have ever seen in a hotel. Room 2907 has amazing city views. You face the Wrigley building. With the right light the Navy Pier and morning sun rise are visible on the glass exterior walls of the building next door, the sun rises in the east sets in the west. The building is a unique triangle design so just about all of the rooms have good views.

I had an amazing stay during the AERA Conference in April 2023. In addition to my "top shelf" room being perfect, the customer service - both when I was checking in and checking out - was top tier. What completely put the icing on the cake was the valet driver, Mr. Cedric! Not only did he take really good care of my vehicle, but he was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of personally. I asked him for directions to the nearest gas station as I was heading home, and he gave me the PERFECT directions! For someone who gets lost so easily, it was so appreciated. Mr. Cedric was a breath of fresh air and cherry on top to my stay!

Our stay was for a 4d/3n volleyball tournament. Called ahead to clarify parking and main entrance...call center was excellent! Awesome housekeeping (Spanish speaking when needed) and front Staff. Very, very friendly and immediately responded to our needs. The staff at the restaurant were absolutely awesome! (They stopped what they were doing to assist me.) Room was clean, big tv, mini fridge, and beds were wonderful. Four pillows, two a little hard and two soft. Bathroom clean with tub and shower. I highly, highly recommend the Swissotel Chicago!!!

We had a wonderful stay! Having adjoining rooms was perfect for our family of 5, with two teenagers. The Valet, Cedric, was also very helpful each time we needed our car. We were close to all of the places we chose to visit, and the package with the VIP Shedd Aquarium tickets made that visit go incredibly smoothly, as well.

Upon arriving we met Cedric, he was able to answer all my questions about checking, coming and going, the cost of parking along with other options for parking; additional he helped us with our bags during check-in and checkout. Great customer service along with his pleasant demeanor makes any guest feel welcome.

I stayed one night at the hotel for a conference. Great location and connectivity via underground pedway. The room was very clean and had a nice view of the river. Valet services were great. Cedric was prompt and quick with my car.

The stay didn’t start off great as I didn’t get the room I fully prepaid for and called in advance for, and I didn’t even get a refund for that), but housekeeping team (thanks so much Mary G.!) did go to great lengths within their abilities to make my day lovely. Room lacks privacy. In fact the adjacent buildings are so close I could even see how much revenue they made last year by reading their ppt slides. Free Wi-Fi is slow. Couldn’t watch YouTube videos on it. It’s probably just another thing they do to scam you to pay extra for premium Wi-Fi. Tv is low in resolution. This was an excellent stay at the hotel during this severe winter storm that hit Chicago over the Christmas Period. I had reserved the Executive Suite with the 2 Double beds and 2 bathrooms. It is a fantastic suite and the exact same suite exact I had stayed in during Christmas 2021. The hotel staff where excellent from the check in, where we were we were allowed to have some sandwiches and water from the shop because we checked in rather late to the hotel manager sending us a nice gift plate on day two, which I am guessing was because we really could not leave the hotel because the weather was so bad and so cold, resulting in the first 2 days mostly in the suite. The same staff were in the restaurant and remembered my son and I from 2021 which is always nice. The breakfast service and food were excellent as usual so really nothing to complain about. The suite had a Christmas tree and Christmas ornaments all over the suite which was a nice touch plus also on day two, the manager also sent up some vouchers so that we could have free drinks/cocktails in the bar/restaurants. Since I do not drink, we used them for tea and juices during our breakfast. As I said, overall, an excellent stay. I was also surprised that it was not cold in the garage either since the weather was so cold this year. I paid for the self-parking, but it is really quite tight getting one's rental car down the tight turns and tunnels, but I prefer to self-park my car because of COVID and not wanting anyone else getting in the car..

View was absolutely incredible, especially from the fitness room. All staff were great, and Rocky/Raquel at the front desk was exceptional in her kindness, patience, and customer service. As far as the hotel goes, I did find myself pining for a pool and less expensive meal options.

I've stayed at the Swissotel many times over the past 15 years for business and pleasure. The experience is routinely good: clean, efficient check-in and check-out, good location to the lake and downtown and F&B that meets my needs. My most recent experience carried an asterisk due to the wonderful, above and beyond help and service of Cedric at the valet stand. I recommend the Swissotel and say hello to Cedric.
