GG's Chicken Shop

So tired of the usual fried chicken and was glad to see that they had the quarter rotisserie chicken meal. I got it with waffle fries and hubby got the crispy Brussels sprouts. A combination of both sides were great. The chicken was tender and seasoned nicely.
The place was small but loved the music that was playing. Can't go wrong with Janet Jackson. Would definitely go again.

Chicken sandwich is so good. Big ole piece of chicken too. Spicy but not overboard. Have ordered it about 15 times.

Great chicken soup. I'll have to try the rotisserie chicken but it looks delicious. Food comes out quickly to your table. Inside and outside seating.

Tried GG’s for the first time. Delicious chicken caesar wrap - one of our favorites. Had a little snafu with a missing item. Called the shop to let them know and Scott could not have been more kind to us. We definitely be back soon!

Fried chicken sandwich is next level delicious. Just wow.... one of the best I have ever had. Waffle fries are also perfectly crispy and was a perfect accompaniment for the sandwich. Really nice outdoor seating area as well.

Chicken Caesar wrap is best in the city - please keep it permanently!!

Chicken was very good but pricey. Skip the chicken Caesar wrap. It’s ok but not very much chicken it. It’s about 80% kale 20% chicken and for $15 dollars that is unacceptable.

First off I love this place the chicken and SO good and I’m so excited that they added a chicken Caesar wrap to their menu. I only have ONE critique that can be very easily fixed. The Caesar wrap is absolutely so delicious especially with the fried chicken but PLEASE I’m begging you there’s too many kale stems in the mix. Please remove the kale steams. I had so many in my last wrap and it’s like chewing on wood. Other than that I love this place and would recommend.

I want to love this place but UGH they mess up our order almost every time we go! I've been given the wrong salad, had side items forgotten, had an entire sandwich forgotten. I thought they had gotten better as there seems to be a 'QA' person checking orders, however today I ordered a rotisserie chicken sandwich and when I opened it up at home it was a fried chicken sandwich. So disappointing for the prices that you pay here! Having correct orders seems like the bare minimum a restaurant can do.

I truly find no pleasure in leaving low reviews, but I stopped here tonight and ordered a chicken Caesar burrito with waffle fries. The staff is great; efficient, friendly, and professional! But for nearly $30 I would want the burrito to have been better, I don’t mind that it’s mostly greens but what is that, kale? And the stems are throughout the entire thing and the worst part is the green in the burrito tasted like DIRT. Please wash the greens because I didn’t even finish half of my burrito and don’t plan to. I wasted $30 tonight. Bringing the rest home to get a second opinion, the fries were great though.

We ordered GG’s Chicken through DoorDash, and there was a mistake with our order. I called just to make the kitchen aware, and Scott, the manager, apologized sincerely saying that is not the standard. He went out of his way to make things right. Scott was an absolute pleasure and we will be dining here again due to their standards, friendliness, and great management (and good food)!
