It was me and my best friend's first time here and what a wonderful experience it was. It was also her first time visiting Chicago so for her to have this type of dining experience on her last night with the exceptional food, service, and view was absolutely phenomenal. This was our first time dining at Gibson's Italia and oh my, it was a wonderful experience. A beautiful venue, the service was impeccable, led by Payton who was awesome. His knowledge of the menu and recommendations were top notch. Our featured items were the Branzino which was really nice, and I am so glad I talked two others who were dining with me to share the Wagyu Tomahawk which was spectacular! All of our sides were great, (mashed potatoes, asparagus, Brussels sprouts). We were too stuffed to have desert but hopefully when we go back we will pace ourselves a little better and save room!

Disappointed to be sat in the very noisy “dining area” on the bar level for a birthday celebration. My steak was also slightly over cooked. I asked for medium rare and received a steak that was brown on the outer ring with a pink inner ring. I typically love my experience at Gibsons but this last visit was a miss. My waitress, however, was great!

Wow! We dined in the fourth floor with open air to views of the river and city scape. Service was excellent as was the food quality. Bartender did a great job and was efficient and friendly.

We had a full 5 course meal with an array of flavors and textures that delivered an exciting experience for our taste buds and the atmosphere was enchanting. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to experience something outside of your normal cuisine selection at an Italian restaurant.

If I could give this 6 stars, I would. My drink my was delicious. I got the pinkies up. The steak was cooked to perfection. And the BRUSSELS SPROUTS???? I would love a second chance at having them again for the first time. Phenomenal. Absolute must if you come to Chicago.

Met the best bartender named Taylor! She made me a delicious drink and was helpful selecting the most popular menu items. I got 1/2 Caesar salad, pasta, fries and dessert. Save room for dessert!! The banana gelato dessert is incredible! I can’t wait to go back!

One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a while. The octopus was cooked perfectly. Charred to a nice crisp outside and nice citrus flavor and sauces. The branzino was the best I've ever tasted. Skin was so crisp and the fish very fresh. Good balance of flavors. Steak was cooked to temp with amazing char lines. I got the wagyu strip and it was good. Also got the mushroom side which was amazing. Our waitress was attentive. Overall an awesome experience.
