Celebrations our 40th wedding anniversary, they made it a wonderful experience! From the second we walked in, we were treated like VIPS, our waitress (captain) made the evening, her menu knowledge, patience, and courtesy are to be commended!

Honestly one of the best dinners and dinner experiences we have had. For starters, our server Elijah (known to us as Emilio lol) was phenomenal. Both my husband and I work in the restaurant industry and finding good quality servers is a task but Elijah exceeded all expectations. The view was beautiful and truly felt next level. The food? Perfect. Steaks were cooked perfectly. You HAVE to get the Cacio e Pepe pasta. And my husband will forever be dreaming od the Banana Gelato dessert. If we are ever in Chicago again, Gibsons Italia will be on our must go's list.

One of the worthy high-end spots in Chicago. White tuxedos for all staff which is comforting in a way. We're celebrating our anniversary and were seated by the windows for the view as requested. Food is spot on and the quality is just superb. My only comment would be the reception lady who was doing her makeup while talking us, totally unprofessional.
Have wanted to try Gibson's for a long time. Beautiful restaurant, stunning view, outstanding food. We loved everything. Not easy on the wallet, but consistent with fine dining pricing and worth every penny for our special occasion.

Sat at the bar waiting for our table. Server handed us a drink list and walked away before we could ask a question. Finally got seated at our table and waiter gave us menus and walked away again before we could ask one question. When we asked what he liked he simply pointed out the most expensive items but couldn't tell us what he actually liked. Food was very good and did not disappoint but service was lacking.

I absolutely loved Gibsons Italia. From the friendly staff to the awesome cocktails (thanks to Taylor the best bartender) and delicious food, I was not disappointed whatsoever. Yes, it is not an inexpensive place to dine, but if you can swing a few extra dollars for dinner and you want an absolutely fabulous experience go! And if you can sit outside on the terrace, even better (our server Jerry was great)! Enjoy!
