This is a fine neighborhood staple. I frequent Mondays when not traveling for work. Orla is generally bartender and an absolute wonderful person. Owen one of the owners I had met in the past is also great as well as the entire staff. The food is better than what you would get in a bar as they pride themselves on a grand quality with great price points. Typically not seen in many Chicago establishments.
The dog friendly patio is massive. Introducing both high top and regular tables. They have a large indoor dining area separate from the bar area. It's great for family dinners, parties and more. Get in there and get some food, a properly poured Guinness goes a long way here, I don't even think Guinness pours em like Gideon Welles does!!!

Just stood at the bar for 5 minutes while the 3 people working behind the bar ignored me, I was in fact the only Black person in the bar so I am going to assume that is why I was not served. I’ve had the food before and it’s delicious I was actually excited to see they reopened but I walked out because I do not need to give my money to a business that does not want it. POC save your money for a different establishment

the food was amazing but the service was horrible. the waitress took forever to come by laughed at a drink order and never brought out that drink or the water. later on we asked a man bussing tables and he brought it but we never got the water. she never checked up on us until our food was gone and it was obvious we were done.

Not sure how bar food and Chicago bar starter kit beer selection make this place a gastropub. Good burger, bad salad, very slow service with hardly anyone there, so hit or miss.

We really enjoy this spot. We really like their Mac n cheese, and enjoy the burgers too! We also love that it is kid friendly.
Mom POV: They have high chairs (for regular tables, not high tops) and a changing station in the handicap stall of the women’s restroom. Very welcoming to babies and children.
